One Piece Cookies Recipes

ONE-PIECE COOKIES

Steps:

• Mix together 1 cup royal icing with the pink or green food coloring until desired shade is reached. Transfer to a small squirt bottle fitted with a thick tip. Outline cookie with pink or green icing. Draw several zigzags across entire surface of the outlined area. If necessary, use a toothpick to spread evenly.
• Mix together 1/2 cup royal icing with the lavender or yellow food coloring until desired shade is reached. Transfer to a small squirt bottle fitted with a thin tip. To create details on the one-piece, draw lines using the lavender or yellow icing to create neck, sleeves, and leg holes. Using tweezers, add silver dragees to create snaps and a sugar candy to center of one-piece. Let cookie dry completely before serving, wrapping, or using as an ornament.

ONE DOUGH, TWO COOKIES

Steps:

• Whisk the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
• Cream together the brown sugar, butter and granulated sugar in a stand mixer, scraping the bowl once while mixing. Add the eggs 1 at a time, mixing, then add the vanilla. Add the flour mixture in increments, mixing gently after each addition. Scrape the bowl once and mix again. Divide the dough in half. Fold the chocolate chips and pecans into half the dough and the cherries and lime zest into the other half.
• Spoon each portion of dough onto a long piece of plastic wrap. Carefully roll the dough inside the wrap, pressing gently to get it to form into a firm cylinder. Use immediately or freeze until ready to bake.
• When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
• Slice off as many cookies as you'd like and lay the slices on a baking sheet. (The thicker the slices, the farther apart the cookies need to be. They bake up flat.) Bake the cookies until nice and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Cool on a rack and serve.

ONE AND A HALF MINUTE COOKIES

Steps:

• Bring margarine, sugar, milk and cocoa to boil. Let boil for exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds.
• Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and peanut butter. Then stir in oats.
• Quickly drop by large tablespoon onto wax paper laid on top of newpaper. Let cool, peel from paper and turn over to finish drying.
• Store in closed container.

THREE-IN-ONE COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in water and vanilla. Combine the oats, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in peanut butter chips and nuts., Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove to wire racks to cool.
