KETO SHEET PAN BURGERS WITH BACON & JALAPEñO



Keto Sheet Pan Burgers with Bacon & Jalapeño image

A Keto sheet pan burger recipe that is easy to make and loaded with bold flavors. You'll want to make this one over and over again! Atkins, low carb, Keto, gluten free, nut free.

Number Of Ingredients 12

24 ounces ground beef (80/20 chuck is best)
1 teaspoon kosher salt (reduce to 3/4 tsp if using table salt)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6 slices raw bacon, cut in half
4 slices of onion (about 1/4 inch thick)
2 jalapeños, seeded and sliced into rings
4 slices pepper jack cheese
1/4 cup real mayonnaise (I prefer Hellman's or Dukes for store-bought)
1 tablespoon Sriracha hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon granulated erythritol sweetener (I use Swerve)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  • Combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a medium bowl and mix well with your hands.
  • Form into 4 patties of about equal size and place on a large baking sheet.
  • Place the bacon, onion rings, and jalapeño slices on the same baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, and sweetener and stir well until smooth. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Remove sheet pan from the oven after 18 minutes and place one slice of cheese on each burger patty.
  • Set oven to broil on high.
  • Return pan to the oven and broil for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Build each burger with 1 patty, 3 pieces of bacon, 1 slice onion, desired amount of jalapeños and a generous drizzle of sauce (shown with optional lettuce and pickles.)
  • Serve warm.

This cake is just what the title says it is---so good. You use a cake mix so it is fairly easy to make and most of the things you might have on hand. I use whatever cake mix I have.

1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 1/4-1 1/3 cups water (see back of box for water amount)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
3 cups milk
1 (6 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
12 ounces frozen whipped topping (thawed)
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts

Steps:

  • CAKE:.
  • Prepare and bake cake according to directions on box for a 9x13 pan using the water, oil, and eggs in the boxed mix.
  • Let sit for about 5-10 minutes and then pierce the top of the cake with a fork.
  • TOPPING:.
  • Pour the undrained pineapple over the baked layer.
  • Mix the milk, pudding mix, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl.
  • In another medium mixing bowl beat the cream cheese at high speed till light and fluffy.
  • Add the pudding mixture to this beating till smooth.
  • Spread over the prepared layers.
  • Top with whipped topping.
  • Sprinkle with the coconut and pecans.
  • Chill covered for several hours.

2 (1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs (well beaten)
1 cup warm water
4 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and set aside.
  • Place sortening, sugar, eggs, 1 cup warm water, salt, and 21/2 cups of flour in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add softened yeast and blend well.
  • Add remaining flour and mix inches.
  • Cover and place in warm place until rise is doubled.
  • Punch down, cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
  • Three hours before serving, rool out dough and divide in half.
  • Roll out each each half into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Spread with soften butter and roll up like jelly roll. Cut into 1 inch slices.
  • Places slices into greased muffin tins, cut side down.
  • Cover and allow to rise for 3 hours before baking.
  • Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
