HOMESTYLE APPLE PIE
Everybody will enjoy a slice of this warm apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare crust as directed in Step 1. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon; mix well. Peel, core and slice apples using Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer; cut apple slices in half. Using Zester/Scorer, zest lemon to measure 1 teaspoon zest. Juice lemon to measure 1 tablespoon juice. Add apples, lemon zest and juice to sugar mixture; toss gently to coat.Spoon apple mixture into pastry-lined Deep Dish Pie Plate; dot with butter.Using Creative Cutters, cut 4-5 shapes into top crust. Place crust over filling; seal and flute edges. Brush milk evenly over crust; sprinkle with sugar, if desired. Gently place Pie Crust Shield or 2- to 3-inch strips of aluminum foil over edge of pie. Bake 30 minutes; remove shield. Bake an additional 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven; cool at least 3 hours.

SWEDISH APPLE PIE (ORIGINALLY FROM PAMPERED CHEF)
I've made this in a pie plate, but I've also made it in an 8x8 square pan and I've even doubled the recipe and made it in a 13x9 pan. It's very versatile and everyone who tries it loves it. It's the ONLY apple pie I like.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- 2. Toss apples with Cinnamon Sugar and Walnuts (if using), then pour into a pie plate.
- 3. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix together sugar with the flour, butter, and egg. Spread evenly over the top of the pie.
- 4. Bake in preheated oven until the apples have cooked and the topping is golden brown, about 40-45 minutes. Store covered in the refrigerator. This pie is best served warm topped with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce!
PAMPERED CHEF STYLE APPLE CRISP (FOR MICROWAVE OR OVEN)
This is one of the recipes that was served at the very first Pampered Chef party I attended, back in 1994. It is a very easy recipe (the hardest part is prepping the apple slices) and can be made in either microwave or the oven. I have made it both ways and prefer the oven version, but it is awfully nice that this can also be tossed into the microwave for a last minute dessert on busy nights. The demonstrator had a handy tip for the apples: After she ran them through the apple peeler/slicer gizmo they sell, she dropped them into a bowl filled with a can of lemon-lime soda (like Sprite) - and then drained them and patted them dry before using in this recipe. This way the apples didn't turn all sludgy brown before she was ready to demonstrate the recipe itself. I am allowing a large amount of prep time for those of you who don't own one of the PC apple gizmos - once your apples are ready, it only takes about 5 minutes to prepare the crisp for baking.

Steps:
- You will need a 12" round stoneware baking pan for this recipe (such as the Pampered Chef deep dish baker).
- Use enough apple slices to fill the stoneware pan 3/4s full (amount will vary depending upon your apples).
- Finely chop the graham cracker squares and mix with oats,brown sugar,flour, and spices.
- Add melted butter and mix well.
- Spoon this mixture over the apple slices.
- MICROWAVE method: Microwave on high 12-15 minutes or until apple are tender, turning dish after 6 minutes.
- OVEN method: Preheat oven to 350°F and bake 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream, as desired.
- Cool slightly and serve while still warm.
