Steps:
- Move oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 375°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 26 regular-size muffin cups.
- In medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and flour; set aside. In large bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar with electric mixer on medium speed until foamy. Beat in granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, on high speed, adding vanilla, almond extract and salt with the last addition of sugar. Continue beating until stiff and glossy. Do not underbeat.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar-flour mixture, 1/4 cup at a time, over egg white mixture, folding in with rubber spatula just until sugar-flour mixture disappears.
- Divide batter among 3 bowls. Carefully fold a few drops yellow food color into 1 bowl until desired shade. Repeat with red and green food color and remaining batter. In each muffin cup, spoon 2 tablespoons of each color batter next to each other; using knife, make "S" motion through batters to swirl.
- Bake 5 to 20 minutes or until cracks in cupcakes feel dry and tops spring back when touched lightly. Remove from pan to cooling racks to cool.
- Use one can of Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting- and mix with 4 drops of red food color. Frost cupcakes.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 16 cupcake cups with paper liners.
- Cut guava paste into medium squares and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Whisk until melted down but still slightly chunky, about the consistency of jelly (heat more if necessary).
- Beat brown sugar, butter, and eggs together with a mixer in a large bowl until creamy. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt; stir until halfway mixed. Pour in guava nectar and mix until everything is fully incorporated. Fold in heated guava paste until evenly distributed. Mix in red food coloring.
- Fill each prepared cupcake cup evenly with batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- While the cupcakes are cooling, blend cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar and red food coloring. Mix on low speed until fully blended. Chill for 10 to 15 minutes. Frost cooled cupcakes.

Steps:
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two 12 cup muffin pans with paper baking cups. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until evenly blended; set aside.
- Beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. The mixture should be noticeably lighter in color. Add the room-temperature eggs one at a time, allowing each egg to blend into the butter mixture before adding the next. Pour in the flour mixture alternately with the milk mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
- Divide the cake batter into four separate bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring into one bowl of batter and stir; add more food coloring, if necessary, to reach the desired shade. Repeat with the remaining colors and bowls of batter.
- Using a different spoon for each color batter, spoon a small spoonful of each color into the cupcake liners, until 1/2 to 3/4 full. Do not mix the batter once it is in the cupcake liner. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes clean, about 15 to 20 minutes.

ALMOST CAKE MIX VANILLA CUPCAKES!
For pretty pastel coloured cupcakes, add in a few drop of desired food colouring my recipe#80118 goes wonderful with these cupcakes --- I use 2 cups icing sugar and 1/2 cup white granulated sugar instead of processing the sugar, it works out fine this way.

POPCORN CUPCAKES (SO CUTE!)
My youngest daughter entered these into the fair a few years back and won a 2nd place ribbon. So cute! You can use your favorite cake batter and icing recipe. To make the popcorn band your will need scissors, white construction paper and blue and/or red markers, or you can create something on a color printer such as we did. You will also need a clean paintbrush to add "butter" to the "popcorn". I think this came from Family Fun Magazine.

Steps:
- Frost the cupcake with white icing. To create each piece of "popcorn," cut one mini marshmallow in half and squish the two pieces back together into a whole mini marshmallow, pinching firmly. Pile the finished popcorn onto the frosted cupcake.
- For a buttery look, either dilute a drop of yellow food coloring in water and brush it on with a clean paintbrush or mix pastel yellow marshmallows in with the white.
- To make the band, cut a strip of construction paper about 1 1/4 inches by 8 inches, or to fit your cupcake, and decorate as shown.
- If you're creating many cupcakes, design just one band and color photocopy it. Wrap the band around the cupcake and secure with tape.
