- Calienta el horno a 325ºF.
- Tritura 8-1/2 galletas hasta obtener migas finas; parte las galletas restantes en rectángulos. Pon las migas de galletas en un tazón mediano. Agrega la mantequilla y el azúcar; mezcla todo bien. Presiona esto contra el fondo de un molde de 9 pulgs. con aro desmontable (springform pan). Hornéalo durante 12 min. o hasta que esté ligeramente dorado. Déjalo enfriar completamente.
- Entretanto, calienta el chocolate y el COOL WHIP en un tazón apto para microondas a potencia ALTA de 2 a 2-1/2 min. o hasta que el chocolate esté completamente derretido y todo bien mezclado; recuerda revolver después de cada minuto. Deja reposar la mezcla 15 min. Esparce la mezcla de chocolate sobre la base. Acomoda verticalmente los rectángulos de galleta, con el lado de arriba hacia afuera, alrededor del borde del molde; presiónalos contra la mezcla de chocolate para asegurarlos. Congélalo 20 min. o hasta que el relleno esté firme.
- Cubre el relleno con el helado. Congélalo 4 horas o hasta que la capa de helado esté muy firme. Cuando vayas a servir el postre, reserva 2 tazas de malvaviscos. Calienta los malvaviscos restantes y la leche en un tazón grande, apto para microondas, a potencia ALTA 1 min. 15 segundos o hasta que los malvaviscos estén completamente derretidos y todo bien mezclado; recuerda revolver después de 1 min. Déjalo enfriar 10 min.
- Calienta el asador (broiler) del horno . Coloca el postre en una charola (bandeja) para hornear; ponle encima la mezcla de malvaviscos derretidos y los malvaviscos reservados. Ásalo, a 6 pulg. del fuego, 1 min. o hasta que los malvaviscos estén un color marrón dorado. Quítale el aro al molde antes de servir el postre.
