CHICKEN PASTA BAKE

Steps:
- Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan over a medium heat and fry the onion gently for 10-12 mins. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for 1 min. Tip in the tomatoes and sugar and season to taste. Simmer uncovered for 20 mins or until thickened, then stir through the mascarpone.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Season the chicken and fry for 5-7 mins or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Cook the penne following pack instructions. Drain and toss with the remaining oil. Tip the pasta into a medium sized ovenproof dish. Stir in the chicken and pour over the sauce. Top with the cheddar, mozzarella and parsley. Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown and bubbling.

- In a saucepan bring 1 cup chicken broth and 1 cup water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is al dente and firm. Press cooked rice into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Place a small piece of pastrami where chicken pieces will be placed on rice. Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise, wrap each piece in a bacon slice and place atop pastrami and rice. In a medium bowl combine soup, sour cream and mushrooms. Pour over all, then pour 1/3 cup chicken broth around circumference of dish.
- Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until fork tender.

- Preheat oven to 350°F Grease a large casserole dish.
- Layer slices of pastrami, scrunching to create an uneven layer. You don't want a slab of pastrami.
- Drain sauerkraut and layer over the pastrami. Top with cheese.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Meanwhile, combine dressing, mayonnaise and relish.
- Remove casserole from oven. Top with dressing and serve.

GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN PASTA BAKE RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: butter, garlic, fresh thyme, fresh sage, fresh rosemary, flour, milk, no-boil pasta, cooked chicken, frozen peas, parmesan cheese, water, breadcrumb, fresh parsley

- Melt butter, add garlic, thyme, sage and rosemary. Sauté until fragrant. Remove the thyme, sage and rosemary.
- Add flour and stir.
- Add the milk, a little bit at a time, and whisk after each addition. Repeat until all the milk is gone. Keep whisking until it has thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
- Grease a 9×13 inch (22 x33 cm) pan. Cover bottom with a layer of pasta, half of the chicken, half of the peas, a ⅓ of the parmesan, a ⅓ water and ⅓ of the sauce.
- Repeat once. Top with noodles, remaining water and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs.
- Broil for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with chopped parsley as garnish.

HOT PASTRAMI BAKED SANDWICHES
This is actually a loaf of bread baked with the sandwhich ingredients inside. Be sure to bake this long enough because it will turn out soggy if not. Preperation time does not include thawing and rising.

Steps:
- Let the dough thaw and rise according to package directions.(usually in a loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray).
- Once it has risen slice the dough down the center long ways about one inch into dough.
- Spread the dough apart using your fingers as if you were "parting the waters". Be careful not to go all the way to the bottom of the pan.
- In the opening spread the mustard, then lay the pastrami inside going as close to each end as possible. Place the cheese slices over the pastrami pressing everything down.
- Pull the dough up and over the filling pinching and twisting to make sure the dough is sealed.
- Bake at 350 for at least 45 minutes or up to 1 hour.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and remove onto a cutting board. Using a serrated knife slice pieces about 2 inches thick.
