1 pound salmon
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Salt and pepper the salmon. In a small bowl add the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Rub on the salmon.
  • In the basket of your air fryer add the salmon skin side down. Turn the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. If adding asparagus add to the basket after 5 minutes.

I would have never guessed making salmon in an air fryer would have produced the most tender and juicy salmon every time. I promise this Perfect Air Fryer Salmon will become your new way to conquer salmon in the kitchen.

2 wild caught salmon fillets with comparable thickness, mine were 1-1/12-inches thick
2 tsps teaspoons avocado oil or olive oil
2 tsps paprika
generously seasoned with salt and coarse black pepper
lemon wedges

Steps:

  • Remove any bones from your salmon if necessary and let fish sit on the counter for an hour. Rub each fillet with olive oil and season with paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Place fillets in the basket of the air fryer. Set air fryer at 390 degrees for 7 minutes for 1-1/2-inch fillets.
  • When timer goes off, open basket and check fillets with a fork to make sure they are done to your desired doneness.

¼ cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons minced garlic
¾ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon freeze-dried dill
2 (12 ounce) skin on frozen salmon fillets

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (199 degrees C).
  • Whisk mustard, brown sugar, garlic, salt, pepper, and dill together in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Place salmon, flesh-side down, in the basket of the air fryer. Cook for 6 minutes. Flip salmon over and brush 1/4 of the sauce on top of each fillet. Cook for 6 more minutes.
  • Brush remaining sauce over the fillets and cook until salmon easily flakes with a fork, 3 to 4 more minutes
