MARINATED FLANK STEAK
A wonderful flank steak on the grill recipe I invented that friends just love! My girls think this is great, and it doesn't take long to grill. This also works great when sliced and used for fajitas.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, mix the oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, and ground black pepper. Place meat in a shallow glass dish. Pour marinade over the steak, turning meat to coat thoroughly. Cover, and refrigerate for 6 hours.
- Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
- Oil the grill grate. Place steaks on the grill, and discard the marinade. Grill meat for 5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

Steps:
- Place the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, and pepper in a blender. Add hot pepper sauce and garlic, if desired. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour marinade over desired type of meat. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired.

PERFECT FLANK STEAK MARINADE
I have been making this marinade for flank steak for years. I am asked for the recipe every time I serve it. It is a snap to put together with ingredients you probably already have! Please do not marinate for more than 8 hours, the fibers in the meat will break down too much and the texture will be mushy. Prep time includes marinating time. Please try it!

Steps:
- Place flank steak in a gallon size zip bag.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Squish it all around so the steak is well covered by marinade.
- Let it sit in the refrigerator 4-6 hours.
- Bring it to room temperature, discard marinade and scrape off any onion, ginger or garlic that may be clinging to it (these will burn on the grill).
- Grill to desired doneness and let rest a few minutes.
- Slice thinly against the grain and serve!
