1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
hot cooked rice
sliced green onion

Steps:

  • Season pork chops with garlic powder.
  • In a large skillet, cook chops in hot oil until brown on both sides.
  • Add onion, soup, pineapple with juice, water, soy sauce and honey.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Cook on low heat 10 minutes or until meat juice runs clear.
  • Serve with rice and garnish with green onions if desired.

4 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 4 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoons canola oil, divided
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup thinly sliced onion
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium beef broth
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons cold water
Hot cooked rice, optional

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. , In the same skillet, saute green pepper and onion in remaining 1 teaspoon oil until almost tender, about 2 minutes. Stir in broth, pineapple, ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Return pork to the pan. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 5-7 minutes. Remove and keep warm., Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with pork and, if desired, rice.

4 pork chops
1 T oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 green and red pepper cut into strips
1/4 onion, sliced
1 8 oz can pineapple chuncks
1/3 c Heinz 57 Sauce
cornstarch

Steps:

  • In a medium size skillet, salt and pepper pork chops and brown pork chops in the oil. Add green onion and onion and saute for a few minutes. Add pineapple juice and all, and the Heinz 57 Sauce. Cover and simmer until done. Remove chops from fry pan and thicken the sauce with cornstarch/water mixture. Serve over chops and rice.

1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon gingerroot, grated
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 garlic cloves, minced
8 boneless pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick

Steps:

  • In a resealable food storage plastic bag mix all ingredients except pork chops.
  • Add pork and seal bag.
  • Turn to coat.
  • Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate, turning bag once.
  • When ready to cook pork, heat grill.
  • When grill is ready, place pork on grill.
  • Cover grill and cook 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade, until pork is no longer pink in center.
  • Discard any remaining marinade.

Pork chops are sweetened up while they simmer alongside diced peaches in syrup.

½ cup vegetable oil
6 each lean pork chops
2 large eggs large eggs
1 cup flour
1 (29 ounce) can diced peaches with heavy syrup
½ cup SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend
½ cup water, or as needed

Steps:

  • Heat oil in the frying pan on medium heat.
  • Clean and de-bone the pork chops. In bowl, whisk eggs and set aside. In another bowl, add flour and any additional spices if desired. Dip pork chops in egg and then flour.
  • Place the coated pork chops into the frying pan.
  • Cook for 25 minutes, turning as needed.
  • Turn the heat to low and add the peaches and SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend to the pan on top of the pork chops. Add the water if it looks too dry.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes and serve.
