POMEGRANATE LIME SPRITZERS



Pomegranate Lime Spritzers image

Simple Factor: 7 ingredients or less; 10 minutes or less. The perfect spritzer is born: Pomegranate juice, freshly squeezed lime, vodka, and tonic water. Light, cool, fruity, refreshing.

3 ounces vodka ((3 ounces equals 1 full shot))
1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 medium lime
1/4 cup pomegranate juice*
4 ounces tonic water ((4 ounces equals ~1/2 cup))
3-4 ice cubes
1 tsp pomegranate seeds

Steps:

  • Mix vodka and sugar, in the serving glass, stirring well until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Alternatively, you could use a shaker for larger quantities.
  • Add pomegranate juice and squeeze in your lime. Then add tonic water and stir.
  • Drop in ice cubes and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

4 ounces pomegranate or cranberry juice
4 wedges lime
4 dashes Angostura bitters
Tonic water, for serving

Steps:

  • Pour an ounce of pomegranate or cranberry juice in each of 4 highball glasses. Squeeze in the juice from each lime wedge, then drop wedges in glasses. Top with a dash of bitters, add ice, then fill each glass with tonic water to taste (about 6 to 8 ounces a glass). Stir before serving.
