Potato Chip Topped Spiced Peanut Butter Fudge Recipes

SPICED UP POTATO CHIPS

Steps:

• Scrub the potatoes under water until totally clean. Use a mandolin or Japanese slicer to slice the potatoes as thinly as possible. As you slice them, submerge them in cold water and set aside. Mix together the garlic salt, paprika, black pepper, cayenne and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
• In 2 heavy Dutch ovens, heat some vegetable oil to 375 degrees F (use a thermometer to keep the temp right!). Lay the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with paper towels, and blot them with more paper towels to dry completely.
• Lower batches of potatoes into the oil using a spatula. They will fry very quickly, about 1 1/2 minutes; remove with a spatula when they're nice and golden and crisp. Immediately sprinkle on the spice mix. Repeat with the rest of the potatoes!

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER POTATO FUDGE

Steps:

• In a 2 1/2 quart microwave safe bowl, cook chocolate pieces, uncovered, on high for 1 1/2-2 minutes or until pieces are melted and smooth, stirring half way through the cooking time.
• Stir in potatoes, peanut butter and vanilla. Add powdered sugar and stir till well blended. With the back of a spoon, press the mixture into a greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Cover and chill. When firm cut into squares.

POTATO CHIP POTATOES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, 1/2 cup of potato chips, onion, butter, salt and pepper; toss to combine. , Transfer to a greased shallow 2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining potato chips. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40-50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

PEANUT BUTTER AND POTATO CHIPS SANDWICH

Steps:

• I usually toast my bread so that my sandwich is crunchy and delicious.
• Spread desired amount of peanut butter on one of both slices of bread.
• Add a generous amount of potato chips and enjoy.
• I usually keep the bag close by because I can never seem to get enough chips on the sandwich:).
