QUICK CRESCENT PECAN PIE BARS

- Heat oven to 350°F.
- If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Firmly press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.
- Bake 8 minutes. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix filling ingredients. Pour filling over partially baked crust.
- Bake 18 to 22 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store at room temperature.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in flour. Press dough in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until edges are light brown.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat brown sugar, corn syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla, the salt and eggs with spoon. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Loosen edges from sides of pan while warm. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Dip 1 end of each bar into melted chocolate; lay flat on waxed paper to dry.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease the sides and bottom of one 15x10 inch pan.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, margarine or butter and salt until the mixture resemble coarse crumbs. Press firmly into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
- In a large bowl stir the eggs, corn syrup 1 1/2 cups white sugar, melted margarine and vanilla until blended. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Spread the filling evenly over the hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until set. Let cool before slicing.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 13x9-in. baking pan with foil; grease foil., Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix; set aside. Combine remaining cake mix, butter and 1 egg; beat on low speed until blended. Press onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack., For filling, beat corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and reserved cake mix until blended. Super fast receipe from the Pillsbury Bake-off that I modified. I made 4 pans and exactly 1 hour after I started I was pulling them out of the oven. My co-workers loved them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Unroll crescent rolls into bottom of 9x13, 9x11, or 9x12 inch ungreased baking pan.
- Spread the dough over the bottom of the pan, and up the sides 1/2 inch.
- Use a drop or two of water to help seal the perforations in the dough.
- Bake in 350 oven for 8-9 minutes.
- It won't be cooked through.
- Meanwhile, mix together all other ingredients.
- Pour/spread pecan mixture over partially baked dough.
- Bake for another 20-22 minutes.
- Let cool for at least 1 hour, then cut into bars.
