HOLY SMOKE BASTING SAUCE
This Southern-style basting sauce recipe is excellent for large cuts of pork and chicken when smoking or grilling. It adds moisture and flavor.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients in a large pot.
- Bring to a hard boil for 10 minutes.
- Use for basting meat while smoking or grilling. If you don't need this much basting sauce, you can cut the recipe down by half or even to one quarter.

BBQ PORK SHOULDER
This recipe is authentic Kansas City, Missouri barbeque. Trust me, they know barbeque. Try this recipe, is it absolutely amazing and you can't beat the outstanding flavor. You'll need to plan ahead. Steps:
- Combine dry rub ingredients and rub all over pork shoulder. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Combine ingredients for basting sauce and mix thoroughtly; cover and refrigerate overnight to blend flavors.
- Preheat oven to 250. Place pork shoulder in roaster pan with a rack underneath. Brush some of the basting sauce over pork. Cook for 8-9 hours or until pork falls apart, basting every hour.
- Meanwhile, combine barbeque sauce ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve with pork.
- It would be great served on buns with the sauce.

PORK TENDERLOIN MARINADE/BASTING SAUCE
This is my absolute favorite marinade/sauce for pork tenderloins but it could also be used for pork chops or chicken.

- Combine all ingredients in small saucepan over medium low heat.
- Reserve half of sauce to serve with pork at the table.
- If using as a marinade, cool remaining half of sauce completely and marinade pork for at least an hour or overnight.
- If using as basting sauce, bake or grill pork and baste frequently with sauce.

I found this recipe in Omaha Steaks Good Life Guide & Cookbook. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping.

- In a small bowl, stir together sauce ingredients.
- Chops: Grill chops for approximately 8-10 minutes, turning and basting frequently with sauce.
- Tenderloin: Grill over medium high heat, turning and basting frequently for 30-35 minutes or until internal temperature reached 160.

NO-COOK BASTING SAUCE FOR PORK AND BEEF RIBS
Baste this sauce on pork or beef ribs while grilling or broiling, it is also good on kebobs!. Plan ahead this sauce must be made 8-24 hours before using. Adjust the garlic amount to taste. The amounts stated will make about 3 cups basting sauce, but you can freeze any remaining sauce to use for another time, it will freeze well, or reduce recipe by half.
