1 paquete (12.5 oz) de pasta con pollo Alfredo a la sartén VELVEETA CHEESY SKILLETS Dinner Kit Chicken Alfredo
1 libra de pechugas de pollo deshuesadas y sin pellejo, cortados en trozos tamaño bocado
5 rebanadas de tocino (tocineta) OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cocidas y trituradas
2 cucharadas de queso parmesano rallado KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Prepara la pasta con el pollo como se indica en el paquete.
  • Ponle encima el tocino y el parmesano.

14oz can(s) tomato sauce
1/2 onion diced
2 Tbsp cumin
2 Tbsp garlic powder
4 c chicken broth
salt and pepper
6 chicken pieces

Steps:

  • 1. add some veg oil to a dutch oven pot throw in the noodles( break up first) and onions let Brown
  • 2. add your tomato sauce broth seasonings i always add 1 cup of water also bring to a boil
  • 3. add your chicken don't do not stir make sure you Nestle your chicken in the broth cover let simmer 25 minutes

How I remember it from Mama's kitchen

1 large chicken
1 medium onion
1 large bell pepper
3 medium tomato
4 clove garlic
3 Tbsp chipotle pepper
2 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp cumin
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 box vermicelli
1 can(s) tomato sauce

Steps:

  • 1. If you didn't buy it already cut up, cut up chicken and add to pot of water to boil, (skin and all) add 2tsp salt and pepper. will cook for 45-60min until chicken starts to pull away from the bones. remove chicken from water and place on plate. let cool. this last step very important, keeps you from burning your fingers. I usually place the chicken in the freezer while i complete the rest of the prep. you can pour the water into a bowl to save until used later in the dish. (saves on pots)
  • 2. dice up the onion, tomato, bell pepper, garlic, chipotle pepper and place them in a bowl. mix in the dry ingredients, cumin, paprika, chili powder. once that's done, take the chicken off the bone and from the skin. you can discard them or used them to make home made chicken stock...
  • 3. in the now empty pot (don't clean it in between) break the vermicelli into 1-1 1/2 pieces and place them into the pot over medium-high heat. don't add the water yet. you will stir the pasta until lightly browned. next you add the mixed ingredients and the chicken, stir thoroughly to mix well. add the water from the boiled chicken to just cover the mixture. cover the pot and cook for approx 15 min, stirring occasionally and adding the water as needed to keep from drying. after 15min, you will add the can of tomato sauce, mix well cover and turn down the heat to simmer for the next 10min. ready to serve.
  • 4. you can replace all the fresh ingredients with their canned or powdered cousins to decrease your work. highly recommended for my bachelor friends when trying to impress that special someone. Hope you enjoy this mexican meal I grew up eating.... thanks Mom.

2 tazas de pasta rotini, sin cocer
1 cucharada de aceite
1/2 taza de pimiento (pimentón) verde y 1/2 taza de cebolla, picados
3 dientes de ajo, bien picados
3 tazas de pollo cocido desmenuzado
1 frasco (24 oz) de salsa para espagueti
1/2 cucharadita de hojas secas de orégano
3 rebanadas de KRAFT Singles, cortadas en cuartos
1/2 taza de queso mozzarella desmenuzado KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/3 taza de queso parmesano rallado KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Cuece la pasta como se indica en el paquete pero omite la sal.
  • Entretanto, calienta el aceite en una sartén grande a fuego medio. Añade las verduras (vegetales) y el ajo; cocina revolviéndolas durante 3 min. o hasta que las verduras estén tiernas pero crujientes. Incorpora el pollo, la salsa y el orégano; deja que esto hierva, revolviendo frecuentemente. Retíralo del fuego.
  • Escurre la pasta. Añádela a la salsa junto con los Singles; revuelve todo. Cubre con el mozzarella y el parmesano; tapa la sartén. Deja reposar el platillo durante 5 min. o hasta que el queso mozzarella se derrita.

1 chicken, cut into parts
bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules, to taste
salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 (10 ounce) boxes dry fideo noodles (pieces about 1 1/4 inch long) or 2 (10 ounce) boxes broken dry vermicelli (pieces about 1 1/4 inch long)
1 white onion, chopped
1 large bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce (just enough for some color and flavor)
cilantro (optional) or jalapeno, for seasoning and color, to garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine first five ingredients in a large stockpot with enough water to cover; boil until done, about 30 minutes.
  • Drain and reserve broth.
  • While the chicken is cooking, heat the oil in a large skillet.
  • Sauté the fideo in oil a few minutes until lightly browned over medium heat.
  • Add onion and bell pepper pieces and cook until onion is translucent.
  • Add cooked vegetables and noodles to the cooked chicken pieces.
  • Pour in some broth and tomato sauce, enough to cover everything (just a little for thicker stews, more for thinner soups), then cover and simmer until noodles are cooked through.
  • Finish with more seasonings (cumin, salt, garlic, to taste).
  • Can be garnished with cilantro and/or jalapeño.
