SWIRLED APPLE SOUR CREAM CAKE
Add grated apples, sour cream and cinnamon swirl filling to Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ yellow cake mix for a delightfully moist and tasty Swirled Apple Sour Cream Cake.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, sour cream, melted butter and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes. Stir in grated apples.
- In medium bowl, stir together all filling ingredients.
- Pour half of the cake batter into pan; sprinkle evenly with filling. Top with remaining batter. With knife, cut through batter several times to swirl filling.
- Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack. Garnish individual pieces with whipped cream and caramel topping.

Steps:
- Blend the sugar and cinnamon.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 10 inch tube pan and dust it with 1 T of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Save remainder for cake.
- Blend cake mix, applesauce and eggs until moistened.
- Then beat as directed on cake mix package.
- Reserve 1 1/2 cup batter.
- Pour remaining batter into prepared tube pan.
- Sprinkle batter in pan with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Top with reserved batter.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool cake in pan top side up for 15 minutes.
- Invert on serving plate and serve.

Steps:
- Peel, core, and chop apples into small pieces.
- Mix together with 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
- Set aside.
- In large bowl, combine sugar and cooking oil; beat.
- Add eggs, orange juice, and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour one third batter into greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan alternating with one half apple mixture.
- Repeat.
- End with layer of batter on top.
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes; turn out on wire rack or serving plate to complete cooling.
- Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

- In a bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and mix well. Add the dry ingredients; mix well. Fold in the apples and walnuts., Spread in a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done. , For sauce, combine sugar, cornstarch and cream in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add butter and vanilla; stir until butter is melted. Serve warm over warm cake.

SAUCY APPLE SWIRL BUNDT CAKE
I know this came out of a magazine many years ago, it is all yellowed and taped to a 3x5 file card. I cannot tell which mag is was now it was so long ago. I have been making this many many years. To me it is a perfect little coffee cake, and makes up so quick and easy. It needs no frosting, and is a nice moist little cake.

Steps:
- Spray the insides of a bundt cake pan with non stick spray liberally.
- Blend cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of this on the inside of the pan, reserve rest for the cake.
- Blend cake mix, applesauce, and eggs until well blended. Beat according to package directions.
- Set aside 1 1/2 cups batter.
- Pour remaining batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the reserved sugar cinnamon mixture over batter.
- Top with reserved batter.
- Bake in a pre heated 350° oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until done.
- Cool in the cake pan, top side up for 15 minutes, the invert on a serving platter.
