SAUSAGE CREAM CHEESE CRESCENTS
In college, my next-door neighbor used to make these for study snacks. I never could get enough of them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Scramble the sausage and crumble VERY well. Drain and rinse under running water to get rid of any excess grease. Wipe any grease out of the skillet and replace sausage on heat.
- Add in cream cheese and any other ingredients you might like. Stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted and the whole mixture is blended well.
- Unroll the crescents into triangles and place a small amount of filling in the center of the longest end. Roll, pinching the edges to seal in the filling and place on a lightly sprayed baking sheet.
- Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minute Watch carefully, so they don't burn.
CREAM CHEESE AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CRESCENT ROLLS
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Brown and drain sausage.
- Microwave cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl for about 30 seconds to soften or soften to room temperature.
- Mix cream cheese with sausage.
- Open your crescent rolls but do not pull the triangles apart. You are going to make two long rolls with this recipe.
- Spray your baking sheet with a cooking spray.
- Place 4 triangles of crescent roll dough lengthwise onto your baking sheet.
- Press any holes that you see together to seal the dough.
- Fill with half of the cream cheese and sausage mixture.
- Top with the remaining crescent roll dough and press all holes together along with all the sides to seal the entire loaf.
- Do the above again with the remaining dough and mixture to make two loaves.

- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

- If using crescent rolls: Unroll 1 can of dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. - If using crescent rolls: Unroll second can of dough on work surface. Press to form 13x9-inch rectangle; firmly press perforations to seal. Carefully place over cheese. - Preheat oven to 350°. Beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, chives, milk, salt and pepper until blended. Stir in chicken., Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into eight rectangles; press perforations together. Spoon about 1/2 cup chicken mixture in the center of each rectangle. Bring edges up to the center and pinch to seal. Brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle with crushed stuffing, lightly pressing down., Transfer to ungreased baking sheets. - In a medium skillet, lightly brown sausage and drain. While sausage is still hot, add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely.

This is a recipe I got from my sister who said that EVERY time she had taken it somewhere, it disappeared quickly, people raved and wanted the recipe--and I found it to be the case as well. It's a winner in my book!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown sausage and drain.
- Add cream cheese and stir until melted and mixed thoroughly. Set aside.
- On cookie sheet roll out package of crescent rolls as one rectangular piece--pinch perforations closed.
- Spread sausage/cheese mixture onto crescent roll 1" from the sides.
- Starting at one end, roll up.
- Pinch ends closed.
- Move roll to center of cookie sheet using two spatulas placed under ends to avoid breaking the roll apart.
- Beat egg and brush over entire roll. Wipe any excess thoroughly from cookie sheet to avoid crusting at the bottom of the roll.
- Sprinkle poppy seed over the top of roll.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Before serving let set for 30 minutes.
