SAUTE PORK CHOPS
Very tender and juices pork chops. Great Sauce. I did use PanNan's method of cooking chops (Recipe #68063) Thanks - - great way of preparing Pork Chops. Served with Recipe #222479), Recipe #20498, and Recipe #42460.

Steps:
- Place chops on a tray.
- Grind seasonings on both sides of the pork chops.
- Let the chops sit on the counter top for at least 30 minutes.
- Pre-heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet.
- Cook each side until nice and golden brown.
- 1/2 to 1 inch will take 3 - 4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat and cover with a tight fitting lid.
- Let chops sit for 8 - 10 minutes.
- Remove chops to a warm platter.
- De-glaze pan with broth, water or wine. After bring to a boil and scrapping all the bits in the skillet, turn to low and add butter.
- Serve sauce over pork chops.

- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper; add to skillet. Saute until a thermometer reads 145°, about 5 minutes per side. Remove to a serving platter; squeeze juice from lemon over chops. Tent with foil; let stand at least 5 minutes before serving., For garlic spinach, heat oil over medium-high heat in same skillet. Add garlic; cook until it just begins to brown, about 45 seconds. Add spinach; cook and stir just until wilted, 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Remove from heat; add lemon juice. Transfer to serving platter. Remove foil from pork; serve spinach with chops.

- In a large nonstick skillet, brown pork chops in oil over medium heat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer to an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. , In the drippings, saute onions until tender. Spoon over chops; add broth. These pan-fried Boneless Pork Chops are a juicy and flavorful meal that'll be on your table in just 15 minutes, with no marinating or breading required. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

Steps:
- Remove the pork chops from the fridge 20 minutes ahead of time. (This helps them to reach room temperature for even cooking.)
- Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt and black pepper. (If your pork chops is brined, you can omit the salt.)
- Rub the chops on all sides with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Then rub in the seasoning mixture evenly on all sides.
- Place a large cast iron pan on medium-high heat. When hot, add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil and swirl the pan to coat.
- Add the pork chops and fry until the internal temperature reaches 140°F / 60°C**, flipping every minute to prevent overheating.
- Cooking time will be about 6-7 minutes in total (about 3-4 minutes PER SIDE) for 1-inch chops 1-inch chops*** (see notes for other thicknesses). Add optional thyme to the pan halfway through.
- Remove from heat and transfer the pork chops to a plate. Cover with foil or a plate and let rest for 3-5 minutes to let the juices redistribute through the meat.
- Garnish with optional minced parsley before serving.

- In nonstick 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in 2 teaspoons hot oil, cook onion until tender. Remove onion to small bowl.
- If using rosemary in place of the thyme, at this point, press one small spring onto one side of each chop. In same skillet over medium-high heat, cook pork chops 5 minutes, sprinkling with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Turn pork chops; sprinkle with thyme if using in place of rosemary, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook 3 to 5 minutes longer or until pork just loses its pink color throughout. Remove pork chops to four warm dinner plates; keep warm.
- Cut unpeeled apple into 1/4-inch-thick slices. In same skillet in remaining 2 teaspoons hot oil, brown apple slices; sprinkle with sugar. Remove to plates with chops.
- In cup, mix apple juice and cornstarch. Stir apple-juice mixture and onions into skillet, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute. Pour mixture over pork chops and apple slices.
