This perfectly seasoned crock pot pork loin roast is slow cooked with a tangy sauce mixture. The sauce is thickened and served with the sliced pork.

1 boneless pork loin roast (about 3 pounds)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried leaf thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups chicken stock (low-sodium or salt-free)
1/2 lemon (juiced; about 1 1/2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water

Steps:

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for about 3 hours. Check the roast at the lower time for doneness to avoid overcooking. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 145 F (63 C).

4 -5 lbs pork loin roast
1 large onion, sliced
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Place roast and onion in crock pot sprayed with Pam.
  • Add bay leaf, soy sauce and garlic powder.
  • Cover. Cook on High 1 hour and then low 6 hours.
  • Slice and Serve.

1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon each minced fresh basil, rosemary and sage
1 tablespoon ground mustard
1 pork loin roast (3-1/2 pounds)
1 cup water
8 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup brown gravy mix
2-1/2 cups beef broth
1-1/4 cups sour cream
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, herbs and mustard; rub over roast. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Pour water into the pan. , Bake, uncovered, until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 70-90 minutes. Remove roast from oven; tent with foil. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing. , Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute onions in butter until tender. Combine gravy mix and broth until smooth; stir into pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook and stir until thickened. Stir in sour cream and horseradish; heat through (do not boil). Serve with pork.

1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1 boneless whole pork loin roast (4 pounds)

Steps:

  • Combine the seasonings; rub over roast. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° until a thermometer reads 145°, 80 minutes. Let stand for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

I tried this cut of meat when it was on sale, and for lack of any other ideas I took suggestions from the back of the label, with a few tweaks (like making gravy). This is a very popular dish at our house, and it could not be easier! Instead of rubbing the roast with the onion soup mix and then adding the cranberry sauce, you can also just mix the onion soup mix with the cranberry sauce and pour the whole mixture over the roast.

1 (3 pound) pork sirloin roast
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons butter, or to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, or as needed
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Rub pork roast all over with onion soup mix and place roast in the slow cooker. Pour cranberry sauce over roast.
  • Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove roast to a platter, reserving juices in the slow cooker.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Whisk flour into melted butter to form a paste. Pour reserved juices from the slow cooker into the butter mixture, whisking constantly, until gravy lightens in color and thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve gravy alongside roast.

  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet over med high heat. Sear the pork loin roast on all sides, for maximum flavor. Place the roast into the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Combine the chicken stock, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce together, then pour around the roast. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for about 3 hours. Check the roast at the lower time for doneness to avoid overcooking. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 145 F (63 C).
  • Remove to a platter, and tent with foil to rest. To make gravy:Pour the liquids from the crock pot into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Be sure to taste and season as needed. Mix together the cornstarch and milk, then add to the pan, whisking until sauce is thickened.
