1 liter soda water
Two 16-ounce bottles ginger ale
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Peel and juice of 2 lemons
Peel and juice of 1 orange
Ice, for serving
Maraschino cherries, candied ginger and fresh mint sprigs, for serving

Steps:

  • In a large punch bowl or pitcher, mix together the bourbon, soda water, ginger ale, sugar, maraschino cherry juice, cinnamon, and the lemon and orange peels and juice.
  • Serve over ice, with a cherry, piece of candied finger and a sprig of mint.

The best buffalo wings are a perfect mix of crispy, tender, and saucy, and this recipe does it all. After coating the wings in cornstarch, you cover them in a spicy, flavorful batter before quickly frying them for 8-10 minutes. All that's left is mixing them in a bowl with your favorite buffalo sauce and plating them with all the fixings -celery sticks, ranch, blue cheese dip. It doesn't really matter, because these juicy, crunchy wings will be the true game night stars no matter what!

¾ cup cornstarch, divided
2 lb chicken wings, rinsed and patted dry
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
⅔ cup water
peanut or vegetable oil, for frying
½ cup buffalo sauce
ranch or blue cheese dip, for serving
1 stalk celery sticks, for serving, cut into sticks

Steps:

  • In a bowl, toss ¼ cup (30 grams) of cornstarch and the chicken wings together until fully coated. Transfer the wings to a wire rack and let rest and dry out for 20 minutes, ideally in the fridge if you have space.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining ½ cup of cornstarch, the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in the water, breaking up any lumps and mixing until smooth. The batter should be slightly runny.
  • Heat the oil in a large pot until it reaches 350°F (180°C).
  • Coat chicken wings in the batter, shaking off any excess. Add the wings to the oil in batches, cooking for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Transfer the chicken wings wot a wire rack set over a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
  • Transfer the chicken to a clean bowl and drizzle with with the buffalo sauce, tossing to coat. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with either ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

Heat until combined, then set aside.For the wings: Whisk together the brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika and pepper in a bowl. Whisk the oil into the dry mixture, creating a loose rub. Set a quarter of the mixture aside to use for brushing.Slather the wings with the rub. Brush the grill grates with a little olive oil, then add the wings to the grill. Cook, covered, for about 10 minutes, then baste with the reserved rub mixture. Flip and baste with any remaining rub and cook for another 15 minutes. Remove the wings from the grill and toss with the hot sauce in a large bowl. Where I'm from, they're just called 'Wings.' I've made this recipe for as long as I can remember - hopping from my hometown of Buffalo, NY, to Raleigh, NC, now to Seattle, WA. This wing recipe has been sought after by many that have tasted them, and I've never given up the recipe or prep method...until now.

1 gallon peanut oil
25 chicken wings, segmented and patted dry with paper towels
⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon coarse-ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a deep-fryer or kettle to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Gently add the wings, one at a time, to the hot oil. Stir gently to assure the wings do not stick together. Fry the chicken wings in the preheated oil until cooked through and the are floating gently atop the oil, about 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the wing should read 180 degrees F (82 degrees C).
  • Stir the melted butter, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper together in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Add the cooked wings to the sauce and turn to coat; transfer to a serving platter.

18 chicken wings (about 3-1/2 pounds)
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
3 cups flaked coconut
3 cups panko bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated orange zest
1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup orange marmalade
3 tablespoons hot water
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan with foil and coat with cooking spray; set aside. , Cut wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip sections. Place orange juice concentrate in a shallow bowl. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the coconut, bread crumbs, orange zest, ginger, curry powder, salt and pepper. Dip chicken wings in orange juice concentrate then coat with coconut mixture., Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake until juices run clear, 40-50 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the marmalade, hot water and pepper flakes. Serve with wings.

1-1/2 teaspoons salt
Oil for deep-fat frying
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon finely chopped jalapeno pepper

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. In a large plastic bag or shallow bowl, combine flour and salt. Add wings in small batches; toss to coat. In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 350°. Fry wings, a few at a time, until juices run clear, about 9 minutes.
