- Preheat oven to 450°F. Lay pork shanks out flat and rub both sides generously with salt and pepper and minced garlic. Put a rack inside a shallow roasting pan to keep the ribs off the bottom of the pan. Lay ribs across rack and fill pan with chicken broth under the ribs making sure the ribs are not touching the broth. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes in the oven. Turn the temperature down to 300°F and allow ribs to cook slowly for at least 4 to 6 hours until the meat begins to fall off the bone. Remove from oven and carefully remove foil to let out the steam. If preferred, remove the bone and brush ribs generously with Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar Barbecue sauce. Return to the oven to bake for 10 minutes. Carefully use tongs to lift ribs in one piece and place on platter.

- Place chicken in slow cooker. In a medium bowl combine the chile sauce, lemon juice, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salsa, chili powder, garlic powder and salt. Mix together and pour mixture over chicken.
- Cook in slow cooker on Medium Low setting for 5 hours.

Steps:
- Combine 1 bottle hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup butter, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place chicken wings into slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over wings.
- Cook on High for 2 hours. Reduce heat to Low; cook 2 hours more.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease several baking sheets.
- Spread wings onto prepared baking sheets and bake in preheated oven until wings are crisp and browned, about 30 minutes.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter with 1 bottle hot sauce in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes. Brush sauce onto wings just before serving.

- Preheat smoker with wood chips (and fill water pan if needed) according to the manufacturers directions of your smoker or grill.
- In medium or small bowl, add Dry Rub Ingredients and combine until very well mixed. Place smoker racks onto baking sheets, and coat both sides of pork wings well with dry rub mixture. Place onto sprayed rack. Leave at room temperature while smoker heats.
- When smoker is fully heated to 225º and smoking, add grates of wings. (*These will cook during phase one for a total of 3 hours.)
