HASH BROWN CASSEROLE WITH HILLSHIRE FARM® SMOKED SAUSAGE
Feeding the whole family for breakfast or brunch is a rise-and-shine situation when you prep this cheesy, smoked sausage-filled casserole the night before.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13x2-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, onion, and bell peppers. Reserve a 1/2 packed cup of cheese and mix the remaining 1 1/2 cups with the hash brown mixture. Transfer to the baking dish and smooth into an even layer.
- In the same bowl, whisk together the eggs, Dijon, hot sauce, half-and-half, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture and gently press down with the back of a spoon to help hash browns absorb the egg.
- Cut the rope sausage crosswise into 1/4-inch slices. Lay across the top of the hash browns and gently press into the mixture.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and top with reserved cheese. Increase temperature to 400 degrees F and finish baking just until eggs are set and top is slightly brown, about 7 to 10 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped chives or parsley if desired, then serve.

- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed skillet on medium-high heat. Saute the leeks with a pinch of salt and pepper, red pepper flakes, and 1/8 teaspoon cayenne. When the leeks are translucent raise the heat to high and add the sausage and cook for 8 minutes or until browned. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- In a separate bowl whisk the eggs together with the cream, milk, the remaining cayenne, a pinch of black pepper and salt.
- Cut the baguette into cubes and put in the bottom of a 9 by 9-inch glass casserole dish. Sprinkle the bread with the Cheddar cheese. Pour the sausage and leek mixture and egg mixture on top. Top with pepper jack cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- The next morning remove from refrigerator. Put in the middle of the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a knife is removed cleanly from the middle. Remove from oven and allow the casserole to stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

- Boil Sausage set aside to cool some, then food Process kind of chunky.
- Chop onions, olives, Bell Pepper
- wisk eggs add all ingredents except Cheddar cheese
- pour egg mixture in sprayed Pan add Sausage kind of stir in sausage top with 1/2 the Cheddar Cheese
- Bake in oven on 375 for 40 min once cooked take out add remaining Cheddar Cheese let it set about 5 min. for cheese to melt and serve or Foil over to Travel. Great for Sunday School Breakfast.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bring a pot of water to boil; cook peas in the boiling water until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain.
- Mix peas, sausage, corn, chili sauce, onion, basil, black pepper, and 1 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese together in a 3-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until casserole is bubbling, 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese over casserole and bake until cheese is melted, about 5 more minutes.

- 1.Cut sausage in ½"cubes. Pull each biscuit apart into two layers. Place biscuit pieces in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Push biscuit edges together to form 1 large crust. 2.Combine beaten eggs with onion, bell pepper, 1 cup of cheese, salt and pepper. Pour over prepared crust. Top with sausage and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. 3.Preheat oven to 375°F.
