1 litre 7 up
750 ml vanilla ice cream (slightly thawed)
5 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for extra lemon flavour)

Steps:

Fill two scoops of ice-cream into each glasses and pour 1 tablespoon lemon juice in each glass.
Just before serving fill remaining of each glass with chilled 7 up. ( Pour slowly so drink doesn't overflow)
Add straw and serve.

Pour soda into the glass to the top of the ice cream.

6 large apples - peeled, cored and chopped
3 tablespoons water
1 cup white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg white

Steps:

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine apples and water and cook, covered, over low heat, until frothy, 15 to 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. Let cool.
In a medium bowl, whip the egg white until stiff peaks form. Fold into the cooled apple mixture. Serve.

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup butter
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange zest

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and egg yolk; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla and orange zest. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Fill a cookie press or pastry bag with dough, and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the cookies are golden brown on the peaks and on the bottoms. Remove from cookie sheets at once to cool on wire racks.
