SODA POP RIBS
Whether you make these soda pop ribs in the oven, slow cooker or Instant Pot, they'll beg for seconds.

Steps:
- Remove membrane on bone side of ribs.
- Place ribs in Instant Pot (or any electric pressure cooker). Add the cola and root beer. Seal and cook on regular pressure for 15 minutes (on Instant Pot this is manual at normal pressure. On any other pot it's 10 psi).
- Let pressure drop normally for 5 minutes, then release the pressure by opening the valve.
- While ribs are cooking, place all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and boil for about 5 minutes or until it's reduced by about 25%
- Put the cooked ribs (you can cut them in portions if you like) on a large baking sheet. Smother them with the sauce then pop them under a preheated broiler (about 3-4-inches from heat) for 5 minutes or until the sauce caramelizes.
- Serve immediately.

- Place ribs in stock pot.
- cover in cola.
- add garlic, liquid smoke, onion (quartered).
- simmer until ribs are tender.
- place in baking pan and cover in BBQ sauce.
- bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes or.
- grill.

- 7-Up cobbler bake. We know that most kids love sugary baked foods topped with mounds of icing, which is why we always marvel at the fact that our kids’ favourite kind of dessert has always been cobbler!

- Orange soda cake. Did we really catch your attention when we started talking about recipes that use pop for both texture and flavour but you also want to make sure you’re making something your kids will really love so you can help your kids feel like they’re really getting a treat?
- 7-Up bottle cake. Do you actually already know that your kids love cake made with pop because the bubbles give the cake a particularly spongey texture, so you’re planning on making a “pop cake” for the next birthday party but you want to take it to the next level and make it really kitschy?
