Here's what you need: strawberry, sparkling water, lemon juice, honey

½ lb strawberry, halved
4 cups sparkling water
1 cup lemon juice, about 4 lemons
½ cup honey, or to taste

Steps:

  • Add strawberries, lemon juice and honey to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour sparkling water and strawberry puree into a pitcher and stir.
  • Serve over ice.
  • Enjoy!

This is a tart, tasty lemonade with a sweet kick, perfect for the cook with garden access during the summer months. You'll need a blender with a 'puree' or 'high pulse' setting. Garnish with any leftover strawberries.

8 large strawberries, halved
2 tablespoons white sugar
7 cups water, divided
1 cup white sugar
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice

Steps:

  • Place strawberries in a blender; top with 2 tablespoons sugar. Pour 1 cup water over sugared strawberries. Blend until strawberry chunks transform into juice.
  • Combine strawberry juice, 6 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and lemon juice in a large pitcher; stir until blended. Chill before serving.

  • Puree the strawberries, sugar and (2 Tbsp.) water together in a blender or food processor until pureed. Remove and strain through a fine-mesh strainer if desired, or you can leave the seeds and pulp in.
  • In a separate bowl or pan, stir together the boiling water and (1/2 cup) sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the lemon juice and strawberry mixture until well combined, then stir in the sparkling water or club soda. Serve over ice.
  • To rim your glasses with Pop Rocks, first take your finger and spread a thin layer of honey over the very top rim of the glasses. Then spread out your Pop Rocks in a small bowl, and dip the honeyed glass rims in the Pop Rocks until they are coated. Garnish the glasses then with an additional lemon or strawberry slice if desired.
