Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1 ⅓ cups peanut butter
1 cup white corn syrup
4 cups high protein crisp rice and wheat cereal
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt

Steps:

Blend syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt in a 2 quart microwave-safe dish. Cook on high 4 minutes, or until mixture boils and sugar dissolves.
Stir in peanut butter, then add the cereal.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool before storing.

Ingredients

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
7 cups Rice Krispies or 7 cups Special K cereal
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup butter

Steps:

melt together corn syrup and sugar.
turn off heat and add P-nut butter.
stir in cereal.
dump in lightly greased 9x13 in.
pan, pressing lightly with buttered fingers or wax paper.
melt together chocolate chips, buttterscotch chips,and butter in microwave until completely melted.
Spread over bars and allow to cool.

1/4 cup soft spread margarine, melted
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 cups Special K® crispy rice cereal
2 cups thin pretzel sticks
3/4 cup chopped pecan
1/2 cup raisins

Steps:

1. Stir together margarine and cinnamon. Toss with KELLOGG'S SPECIAL K cereal, pretzels and pecans. Spread cereal mixture evenly on baking sheet.2. Bake at 250°F about 10 minutes, stirring once. Mix in raisins. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.VARIATIONS: Substitute dried cranberries, dried cherries or dried blueberries for raisins. Prepare according to above method.MICROWAVE METHOD: Prepare according to above method in microwave safe mixing bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Mix in raisins. Cool completely Store in airtight container.Microwave cooking times may vary, depending on wattage.

4 cups Special K® crispy rice cereal

Steps:

1. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.2. Blend butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla beat well.3. Add flour mixture, coconut, walnuts and raisins mix well. Stir in KELLOGG'S SPECIAL K cereal. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.4. Bake at 375°F about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
