SWEET-AND-SOUR MEAT LOAF
My husband and I like basic, hearty meat-and-potatoes meals. The sweet-and-sour flavor adds a deliciously different twist to this longtime standby. -Debbie Haneke, Stafford, Kansas

SWEET & SOUR TURKEY MEATLOAF
This is my delicious healthy take on classic meatloaf. Using lean ground turkey and sweet & sour sauce really makes it moist and yummy! Also, I use sweet (preferrably Vidalia) onion when I can. My family LOVES this recipe, and we sometimes do a twist and make Meatballs instead of the loaf.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients (only 3 T of the sweet & sour sauce) in large bowl. Once mixed, transfer to sprayed, non-stick 8x8 pan. Press mixture flat into corners to cover pan (you could also use a loaf pan if you prefer). Top with remaining sweet & sour sauce.
- Place in oven and cook for 35-40 mins. or until it starts to pull away from the pan. ENJOY!
- NOTE 1: If you prefer to make meatballs, divide mixture into 6 equal portions and roll into a ball. (You may want to use additional bread crumbs to help hold them together). Place each meatball in skillet sprayed with no-stick spray over medium-high heat, just long enough to sear. Turn once during this process so they have a nice brown on each side. Then transfer to sprayed casserole dish and cook as noted above.
- NOTE 2: In an 8x8 square pan, the meatloaf will make 6 servings.

SWEET AND SOUR MEATLOAF
This is a southern meatloaf. It is the only one I will eat. The sauce makes it the best. Its a little sweet and a little sour. I promise you will love it. It is great on a sandwich the next day with a little mayo and cheese. My husband makes me double this recipe and he would eat it every day if I cooked it! We always fight over the leftovers!!

SWEET TURKEY MEATLOAF
I make my meatloaves different every time, usually just going with what I have in the house. Must be why this is my THIRD meatloaf recipe! This one is definitely a keeper, though. I'll be making it just this way more often.

SWEET AND SOUR MEATLOAF
It's a little bit sweet a little bit sour and makes the best sandwiches the day after that I have ever tasted. Sometimes you have to make it more then once to make it your own and adjust the sugar to vinegar ratio but it's worth it.

SWEET & SOUR CROCK POT TURKEY MEATBALLS
These are equally delicious as an appetizer, over rice or noodles, or in a sandwich. I have also used the sauce recipe with chicken and vegetables. I like to use Italian seasoned bread crumbs in place of the plain to give a bit more flavor and color. This originally came from Shape magazine.
