I love to cook but just don't have much time. This casserole is both comforting and fast, which makes it my favorite kind of recipe. I serve it with a green salad. -Jena Coffey, Sunset Hills, Missouri

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup 2% milk
1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
2 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
2 cups fresh broccoli florets, cooked
2 celery ribs, finely chopped
1-1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine soup and milk until blended. Add the stuffing mix with contents of seasoning packet, chicken, broccoli, celery and 1 cup cheese. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. , Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Freeze option: Sprinkle remaining cheese over unbaked casserole. Cover and freeze. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 375°. Bake casserole as directed, increasing time as necessary to heat through and for a thermometer inserted in center to read 165°.

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 slices Swiss cheese
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
¼ cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package dry bread stuffing mix
½ cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Arrange chicken breasts in the baking dish. Place one slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast. Combine cream of chicken soup and milk in a medium bowl, and pour over chicken breasts. Sprinkle with stuffing mix. Pour melted butter over top, and cover with foil.
  • Bake 50 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
Salt and black pepper
4 to 6 slices baby Swiss cheese
1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
1/3 cup milk
1 stick butter, melted
1 bag of Pepperidge Farm seasoned stuffing mix (not cubes) or 1 small box Stovetop Chicken stuffing mix

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange chicken in pan and season to taste with seasoned salt and black pepper. Top each breast with a slice of cheese. Combine soup and milk in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour soup over chicken to cover breasts entirely. Combine melted butter and Stovetop in a small bowl (moisten a little more with some warm water if it seems too dry) and scoop over top of chicken. Cover tightly with foil and bake 30 to 35 minutes.

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 -12 slices swiss cheese
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
1 (3 cup) package Stove Top stuffing mix (for chicken)
1/4 cup butter, melted
italian seasoning (optional)

Steps:

  • Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish and place chicken breasts in dish.
  • Season chicken with garlic powder, salt and pepper and italian seasoning (optional).
  • Top each chicken breast with 1 or 2 slices of cheese (however you'd like it).
  • In a seperate bowl, combine mushroom soup and milk, stir until lumps are gone. Pour over chicken.
  • Top with stuffing mix and drizzle melted butter all over.
  • Cover. Bake for 45-50 mins @ 350.
  • Remove cover, continue to bake for 5-10 minutes to crisp the stuffing.

8 split boneless and skinless chicken breasts
8 slices Swiss cheese
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup semi-dry white wine
1 stick margarine
cups 3 to 4 dry Stove Top Stuffing

Steps:

  • In large baking dish lay chicken breasts making sure they are not on top of each other.
  • Put one slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken split chicken breast.
  • Heat cream of chicken soup until smooth. Do not add any milk or water to soup. Once soup is smooth, add in white wine. Mix well. Pour soup and wine mixture on top of chicken and cheese making sure all chicken pieces are covered with mixture.
  • Next, melt margarine in sauce pan. Once melted turn off the heat and add dry stuffing. Mix well. Sprinkle stuffing mixture over chicken and sauce.
  • Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hour.
