TATER TOT CASSEROLE WITH SAUSAGE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Spread the sausage, bacon, or ham evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Spread cheese over meat. I use 4 cups of cheese, but you can use less if you prefer to reduce the calories.
• In large bowl, beat together milk and eggs. Pour over cheese. (May be refrigerated overnight at this point).
• Top with frozen tater tots.
• Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Some ovens may take more or less time. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

TATER TOT CASSEROLE I

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and spread evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Spread cheese over sausage.
• In large bowl, beat together milk and eggs. Pour over cheese. (May be refrigerated overnight at this point).Top with tater tots.
• Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

TATER TOT® BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
• Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage and onion in the hot skillet until sausage is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and cool.
• Meanwhile, whisk milk, eggs, onion powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper together in a bowl.
• Spread sausage mixture over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pour egg mixture over the top. Layer with 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese and all of the potato nuggets. Cover with aluminum foil.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake until melted, about 20 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

TATER TOT BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Line up the tater tots in a buttered 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
• Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and onion and cook, breaking the sausage up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly, then sprinkle it over the tater tots.
• In a large bowl, mix the milk, half-and-half, seasoned salt, cayenne, eggs, bell peppers, half of both cheeses and some salt and pepper. Pour over the tots and sausage mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
• Bake, covered, for about 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until the cheese is brown and bubbly and the casserole is cooked through, another 20 to 35 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.

CHEESY SAUSAGE TATER TOTS - TOPPED CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Set oven to 350 degres.
• Butter a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
• Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add in the sausage meat with chili pepper flakes (if using) onions and garlic, stir with a wooden spoon breaking up the meat, cook until well browned (about 10-12 minutes) drain the fat, then add in about 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese; mix to combine.
• Spread the mixture into the baking dish.
• In a bowl mix the soup with evaporated milk, then pour over the sausage mixture in the baking dish.
• Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the soup.
• Top with the potato nuggets evenly over the cheese.
• Sprinkle the top of the nuggets lightly with seasoned salt and black pepper, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste.
• Bake uncovered for about 50-60 minutes, or until lightly browned.

TATER TOT CASSEROLES

Steps:

• In a Dutch oven, cook the sausage, beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the soup, beans, corn, 1 cup cheese, milk, garlic powder, seasoned salt and cayenne. Transfer to 2 greased 11x7-in. baking dishes. Top with Tater Tots; sprinkle with remaining cheese., Cover and freeze 1 casserole for up to 3 months. Cover and bake the remaining casserole at 350° for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake until bubbly, 5-10 minutes longer., To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. , Cover and bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Uncover and bake until bubbly, 5-10 minutes longer.
