Tender Garlic Lemon Chicken Strips Slow Cooker Recipe - (3.8/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 chicken breasts, boneless, cut into strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chicken broth
Juice of 2 lemons
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon rosemary

Steps:

  • In a bowl, whisk together broth, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, thyme, and rosemary. Place chicken into crockpot and pour mixture over evenly. Cook on high for 4 hours.

This Crock Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken is made with chicken breasts, lemon juice, garlic, Italian seasonings and chicken broth. Delicious!

3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into thirds (or chicken tenders))
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2-3 Tablespoons oil ((or butter))
salt and pepper, (to taste)
1 packet Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Coat chicken breast pieces lightly in flour, shaking off excess, and place on a plate.
  • Heat 2 -3 tbsp. oil in a large skillet over high heat. Get the pan nice and hot!
  • Add in half the chicken pieces and brown on both sides (about 3 minutes per side).
  • Season chicken with a bit of salt and pepper while it's in the pan.
  • Take those pieces out, add in more oil if needed, and brown last batch of chicken.
  • Put chicken into the crock pot.
  • Sprinkle chicken with dry Italian dressing mix. Add in minced garlic.
  • Then pour in chicken broth and lemon juice.
  • Cover with lid and cook on low for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

  • In a small bowl, combine dried oregano, garlic, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Mix well and rub chicken breasts with oregano mixture.
  • Heat unsalted butter in a large nonstick skillet. Brown rubbed chicken breast halves in hot butter. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to slow cooker.
  • Pour water, lemon juice and bouillon granules in the same skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat, loosening browned bits from skillet. Pour boiled lemon mixture over chicken.
  • Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4-5 hours. Add parsley and baste the chicken. Cover slow cooker and cook on high-heat setting for a further 15-30 minutes, or until chicken breasts are tender.
