A different twist to a standard punch. Brewed tea is mixed with orange juice, pineapple juice, lemonade and ginger ale.

1 cup white sugar
1 cup strong brewed black tea
4 cups orange juice
4 cups pineapple juice
4 cups prepared lemonade
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, combine sugar and tea. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in orange juice, pineapple juice and lemonade. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, pour chilled juice mixture into a punch bowl and stir in ginger ale.

Texas Tea Punch Recipe (Southern Sweet Tea) image

Texas Tea is a wonderful, fresh recipe to have in your collection for a luncheon or party. I love it's bright red color, hint of mint, and the sweet and sour combo of lemon and pineapple. Perfect any time of year!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup sugar (or cut in half, or even omit; I use all natural cane sugar)
3 quarts filtered water (that's 12 cups)
3 Tazo Passion tea bags (other herbal fruity teas may be substituted)
8 Black Tea bags (substitute with 2 family sized tea bags, decaf may be used)
4 sprigs of mint
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
6 oz can frozen lemonade (thawed (I can never find 6 oz, buy 12 oz and freeze leftovers))
Ice (lemon slices and mint sprigs for serving (optional))

Steps:

  • Bring the sugar (optional) and water to a boil, whisking to combine until sugar is dissolved. Boil 5 minutes, remove from heat. If not using sugar, just bring to boil.
  • Add mint sprigs, herbal berry tea bags, black tea bags. Cover and let steep/stand for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and mint from tea using a sieve. Add lemonade concentrate and pineapple juice. Stir and chill.
  • Serve over ice, garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.

¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup hot water
6 cups brewed black tea, cold
2 cups orange juice
½ cup lemon juice
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine sugar, salt and hot water. Stir until completely dissolved. Sir in the tea, orange juice and lemon juice. Serve in tall glasses with ice and slices of citrus fruit.

3 oranges, sliced
8 cups hot weak green tea
4 cups dark rum, chilled
Juice of 3 lemons, chilled
8 cups white wine, chilled
2 cups brandy, chilled
Ice

Steps:

  • Place orange slices in a large container and pour tea over oranges. Bring to room temperature and transfer to refrigerator to chill. Just before serving, transfer to a punch bowl and add rum, lemon juice, wine, and brandy; add ice and serve immediately.
