6 fresh strawberries, hulled
5 fresh basil leaves
2 limes, sliced
1 1/2 cups good quality bourbon
Ginger ale

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the strawberries, basil, and limes. Muddle or crush them together. Add the bourbon and muddle it around a little more. Add the ice and shake well. Strain the mixture equally into 4 rocks glasses filled with ice. Top each glass with some ginger ale and enjoy!
