THE CHEESE DIP
I call this The Cheese Dip that will make you famous because it's guaranteed to be the hit of the party! Serve it at your Super Bowl Party, serve it at a cocktail party, serve it anywhere and you'll get rave reviews! It's super easy, and you'll have everyone asking for the recipe. Try it with jalapeño jack if you like a kick...otherwise, stick to the cheddar.

- Place all ingredients in a shallow baking dish (a 9" square pan or round quiche pan will be perfect!)

This dip has all the best ingredients I've found from various other recipes and it's my favorite by far! Serve as a dip at a party or with sour cream and jalapenos to make nachos and use it as a main course!

Steps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble sausage and ground beef into the skillet; add the onion. Cook and stir the beef mixture until the meat is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease. Pour into a slow cooker.
- Layer cheese food cubes atop meat mixture.
- Blend diced tomatoes with green chile peppers in a blender until smooth; pour over the cheese cubes along with the cream of mushroom soup. Stir the mixture.
- Cook on High, stirring occasionally until the cheese is completely melted, about 90 minutes.

ULTIMATE CHEESE DIP
This cheese dip is easily the best that I've ever had, and being a college student I've had quite a lot. The only reason there are ever leftovers is because this dip is so delicious and filling. I recommend Mission® or On The Border® chips because this dip is rather thick and you need a durable chip that wont break off too easy!

My friend Cheryl gave me this recipe - the saying is around our town if Cheryl makes it, it's got to be good. She first made it for a superbowl party. My team wasn't playing, I was just there for the food:) .... and boy was it worth it! And to top it off it's SUPER easy, but tastes like you labored. If you don't like watching sports on TV, my suggestion is to make this, set it out for the guys mezmerized by your tv, and hit the mall. Chances are you'll be back before they even know you are gone. Steps:
- Cut top off of bread -- scoop out bread inside to make bowl (save the bread)
- mix all other ingredients in a medium size bowl. Brush inside of bread bowl with butter. Pour/scrap cheese mixture into bowl. Brush outside of bread bowl with more melted butter, place bread top over mixture, wrap in foil and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes -- unwrap and continue baking til cheese mix is hot all the way through.
- Use reserved bread to dip. also as the amount of dip gets lower inside. Cut off pieces of the bowl to use. I think we ended up having to use part of a sour dough baguette to have enough.
