FRENCH BLONDE COCKTAIL

4 ounces grapefruit juice
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces elderflower liqueur
2 teaspoons lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon), plus 2 thin lemon slices, for garnish
2 dashes lemon bitters

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the grapefruit juice, vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and lemon bitters and shake well. Strain into 2 coupe glasses. Float a thin lemon slice on top of each.

I love Lillet Blanc, St Germain , gin & grapefruit, so was delighted to find a cocktail that combined all four!

1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur (St. Germain)
1 ounce dry gin
2 ounces lillet blanc
2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
3 dashes lemon bitters

  • Vigorously shake together all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker for at least 30 seconds.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • Bottoms up!
