i love popcorn especially when it's soft and chewy i sneak this into the movies sometimes for my little brothers and sisters they love it

Ingredients

4 bag(s) microwave popcorn, sift out the unpopped kernels
1/2 c butter
4 1/2 c sugar
2 1/2 c brown sugar12
12 oz evaporated milk
2 c heavy whipping cream
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c light corn syrup

Steps:

1. Bring to a boil butter, sugar, milk and cream. Then stir in salt and corn syrup. Boil to a softball stage. Stirring constantly.
2. Pour over popped corn, mix well. Lay out to dry on a sprayed pan.

Place the popcorn in a large bowl (you'll want extra room in the bowl for tossing the popcorn with the caramel).
In a medium saucepan, add the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Heat the ingredients over medium-low until the butter is melted and the ingredients are combined. Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring often.
Off the heat quickly whisk in the baking soda and vanilla (the mixture will foam and bubble). See note below about adding marshmallows.
