VAMPIRE'S KISS HALLOWEEN DRINK RECIPE

Vampire's Kiss Halloween Drink Recipe image

The beautiful Vampire's Kiss adds an elegant touch to your Halloween drink menu. Enticing, and deceptive...like a Vampire's kiss.

Provided by kayti Lavergne

Categories     Cocktails

Time 3m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 oz. Vodka (Titos)
1 oz. raspberry Liqueur (we chose Chambord)
1/2 oz. cranberry juice (we used sweetened)
1 1/2 oz. Champagne (our choice Barefoot bubbly)
1 tsp. Grenadine simple syrup
Grenadine-(as needed)
Red sanding sugar-(as needed)
Maraschino cherry

Steps:

  • pour grenadine to cover a small flat plate the diameter of your glass rim.
  • Pour the sanding sugar on a SEPARATE plate of equal size to cover the plate liberally.
  • Invert your chilled glass into the grenadine forming a red rim of syrup on your glass.
  • Invert the wet rimmed glass into the sanding sugar until the sugar clings well to the syrup forming a red rim.
  • Set out the rimmed glass and carefully lay the large round ice cube in the glass bottom.(do not disturb the rim).
  • Measure and pour the vodka, Chambord, cranberry juice into the rimmed glass.
  • Add the champagne next.
  • Finally drizzle the grenadine over the back of a spoon onto the large round ice cube. for the bloody Vampire Kiss effect. :)
  • a maraschino cherry suspended on a pick over the glass. A stainless pick will give you a bit of the stake in the heart vibe. A WOODEN long pick will really look like a vampire killer. :)
  • The large ice cube really helps reduce dilution of the drink. I highly recommend them.

VAMPIRE'S KISS COCKTAIL

Vampire's Kiss Cocktail image

Vampire's Kiss Cocktail - a tart champagne cocktail inspired by the classic cosmopolitan

Provided by Jennifer Tammy

Categories     Cocktail Recipes

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

½ oz vodka
3 oz pink champagne
Cranberry ginger ale, to taste
½ oz lemon or lime juice
Pink food dye, optional
Corn syrup, optional

Steps:

  • To line the glass with the "blood drips" mix the corn syrup with the pink food dye.
  • Use a spoon to drip the corn syrup down the inside edge of the glass. You can freeze the glasses to prevent the syrup from running but I like the really drippy effect rather than just keeping it on the edge.
  • Place the vodka and lime juice in the bottom of your champagne flute and top with pink champagne. Let the bubbles fizz out and then fill to the edge with cranberry ginge rale.
  • If serving with dry ice, pop a small pebble-sized piece in each glass and be sure to instruct your guests to wait until it is done bubbling out before imbibing.

16 HAUNTING HALLOWEEN COCKTAILS - THE SPRUCE EATS

From thespruceeats.com
  • Jack-O-Lantern. Several Halloween drink recipes use the name jack-o-lantern. Yet, few are as simple or eye-catching as this one. While it's not a pumpkin-flavored cocktail, it certainly looks like one.
  • Candy Corn Cocktail. Many attempts have been made to recreate the taste of candy corn in a glass. While they're not perfect, they are fun. In this candy corn cocktail, you'll infuse kettle corn into a bottle of gin and pair that with Moscato wine and homemade grenadine.
  • Halloween Hypnotist. Dazzle your guests with a bewitching martini. The haunting, eerie glow of the Halloween Hpnotist is sure to do the trick! The vodka recipe is both easy and fruity—requiring just three common ingredients—vodka, Hpnotiq, and lemon juice—and the glow stick "garnish" completes the effect spectacularly.
  • Children of the Corn. Homemade candy corn-infused vodka is the star of this intriguing cocktail. The infusion takes just a couple of hours so that you can pull it off at the last minute, and it's guaranteed to be the talk of the party.
  • Blood and Sand. Go old-school with an impressive variation on the scotch Manhattan. In the blood and sand, you'll add a splash of cherry brandy and orange juice to the popular whisky-vermouth combination.
  • Vampire Kiss Martini. The vampire kiss martini is elegant, sparkling, and you don't need a cocktail shaker to make it. Everyone will enjoy this tasty concoction of vodka, black raspberry liqueur, and Champagne while the bloody red rim adds a frightful twist.
  • Candy Appley Cocktail. Add an applelicious cocktail to the party to make an old-fashioned game like bobbing for apples even more of a spectacle. The candy appley cocktail spikes sparkling cider with caramel-flavored moonshine, then tosses an apple liqueur and cranberry juice into the mix.
  • Fright Night in the Grove. Shock your guests by serving Jägermeister and tequila together in style. The fright night in the grove is simple, and the only other ingredients you need are simple syrup and grapefruit juice.
  • Frog in a Blender. Admittedly, some drinks are more gimmick than anything else. The frog in a blender is one of those, and the concept behind this vodka-cranberry slushie is hard to beat.
  • Swamp Water Surprise. Making jello shots for the party? Save a bit of the gelatinous treat for this fun rum cocktail. You can totally customize the scary vibe of the swamp water surprise by choosing certain ingredients.
