Toll House Quick Ice Cream Recipes

ORIGINAL NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
• Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
• Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

• Slice and Bake Cookie Variation
• Prepare dough as above. Divide in half; wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Shape each half into 15-inch log; wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
• Preheat oven to 375° F. Cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices; place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

TOLL HOUSE QUICK ICE CREAM

Steps:

• In a small heavy gauge saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter.
• Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring occasionally; boil 1 minute.
• Remove from heat.
• In blender container, combine eggs, vanilla extract and salt; cover and blend at medium speed for 30 seconds.
• Gradually pour in brown sugar mixture; blend at high speed for 1 minute Set aside;.
• Cool to room temperature.
• In a large bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff.
• Fold in butter/sugar mixture.
• Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
• Pour into foil-lined 9x5x3 in loaf pan.
• Cover with foil; freeze until firm (several hours or overnight).

TOLL HOUSE CHOCOLATE SYRUP

Steps:

• Grab a cup and add 2 tablespoons of Toll House Cocoa, then add 4 tablespoons of milk. Stir until it looks like chocolate icing. Once looks like chocolate icing put in microwave for 25 seconds. When done take out and stir. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Stir then put in microwave for 30 seconds. Once done take out and stir really good to take the lumps out.

NESTLE "TOLL HOUSE" CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325 F. Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and pecans. Spoon into pie shell. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between outside edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serves warm with whipped cream.

• Combine sugar and butter bring to a boil and stir constantly. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Combine eggs, vanilla, and salt blend 30 seconds. Add brown sugar mixture and blend at high speed 1 minute cool. Whip heavy cream until stiff and fold into mixture. Add chocolate drops and walnuts. Pour into foil-lined loaf pan and freeze until firm.
