1 package Chex cereal
1 package pretzel
2 packages Ritz Bits mini cheese crackers or 1 package Ritz cracker
1 package Cheerios toasted oat cereal
6 -7 tablespoons dill weed
2 packages original ranch dressing mix
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Mix small bowl altogether, stand 2 hours.
  • Put in large container, the first 4 ingredients and then add in the ingredients from the small bowl.

Love to make these at Christmas. Great snack that can be frozen and served right out of the freezer.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (325 g) box Cheerios toasted oat cereal
1 (325 g) box shredded wheat cereal
1 (275 g) bag pretzel sticks, broken
1 lb salted peanuts (or 1/2 & 1/2) or 1 lb cashews (or 1/2 & 1/2)
1 lb melted butter
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 tablespoon onion salt
1 tablespoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Mix dry ingredients.
  • Put dry ingredients in a large roasting pan.
  • Mix sauce ingredients.
  • Mix sauce into cereal mixture-toss well.
  • Cover, cook at 225°F for 1 hour.
  • Remove lid, cook another hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Let cool, can be put into tins or Tupperware and frozen until ready to serve.

300 g Nutri-Grain cereal
250 g peanuts
1 (45 g) packet cream of chicken soup mix (powder mix)
1 (45 g) packet French onion soup mix (powder mix)
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 cup warm canola oil

Steps:

  • METHOD:.
  • Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl and gradually stir in canola oil. HOW EASY IS THAT!

This is an old family recipe. It is very easy but good. My Mom made this every Christmas now I make it.

Number Of Ingredients 14

3/4-1 lb margarine
1 tablespoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon savory
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Cheerios toasted oat cereal
shreddies cereal
Crispix cereal
pretzel
peanuts
pecans

Steps:

  • Combine cereal and nuts in a roaster to the volume you want, then melt margarine and stir in seasonings.
  • Sprinkle liquid mixture over the dry mixture slowly while stirring constantly.
  • Roast in oven for 1 hr stirring every 10 - 15 min.
  • I usually add the mixture in 4 equal amounts and sprinkle when stirring.
