Banana Split Smoothie recipe is a naturally sweetened vegan smoothie that is packed with healthy ingredients to help you satiate your sweet cravings for a quick breakfast or an afternoon pick me up. ¼ cup ground rolled oats
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 Plant based yogurt (such as almond or coconut yogurt)
½ cup of crushed ice (optional)

Steps:

  • Place banana, rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), almondmilk, almond yogurt, and ice into the blender.
  • Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

1 ripe banana ((sliced and frozen))
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 Tbsp. rolled oats
1/2 Tbsp. flax meal or seeds
1 Tbsp. almond butter
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Steps:

  • Add oats to blender and pulse to grind into a powder. If using full flax seeds instead of flax meal, add flax seeds along with oats.
  • Add remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth. If your banana is not frozen, add several ice cubes before blending.
