Steps:
- Shape meat into eight thin patties. Spoon 1 Tbsp. of the chilies onto center of each of four of the patties; top each with second patty. Pinch edges of patties together to seal.
- Cook in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 6 to 8 min. on each side or until cooked through (160°F). Top with VELVEETA; cover. Cook an additional 30 sec. to 1 min. or until VELVEETA is melted.
- Fill buns with lettuce and burgers.

Top with remaining patties; press edges firmly to seal. , Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 8-9 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. These are the BEST burgers I've ever had. My mother made a version of these and I changed it a little....instead of Jalapeno peppers you can add ANYTHING or just do the cream cheese...trust me...you're family and/or guests will BEG for the recipe!

- Preheat a grill for medium heat. When hot, lightly oil the grate. In a medium bowl, stir together the jalapenos and cream cheese.
- Divide the ground beef into 16 portions and pat out each one to 1/4 inch thickness. Spoon some of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of 8 of the patties. Top with the remaining patties, pressing the edges together to seal.
- Grill for about 10 minutes per side, or until well done, taking care not to press down on the burgers as they cook. This will make the cheese ooze out. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.

- Press 1 piece of VELVEETA in each pepper half. Dip peppers in milk, then in combined flour and bread crumbs, turning to evenly coat all sides. Repeat to coat each pepper twice. Place on baking sheet.
- Freeze 5 hours or until firm.

KITTENCAL'S JALAPENO-CREAM CHEESE STUFFED HAMBURGERS
You may omit the jalapeno if desired and you may use whatever else you want to flavor your burgers with just do NOT omit the cream cheese in the middle and add in the onion soup mix and garlic to the hamburger mixture --when I make these I use 2 scant tablespoons of cream cheese for each burger, you may want to reduce to 1 tablespoon if desired --- these may be fully prepared covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated until ready to grill --- these burgers are very good!

- Set grill to medium heat.
- Oil the grill grates.
- In a bowl stir together the softened cream cheese with jalapeno pepper; mix until combined.
- In a bowl combine the ground beef with onion soup mix and garlic, then add whatever other seasonings you desire, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, etc (do not add in any extra salt to the ground beef mixture as the dry onion soup mixture already has enough salt).
- Divide into 16 equal portions.
- Pat out each portion to about 1/3-inch thickness (can make a little larger if desired).
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese into the center of 8 patty (do not spread out the mixture).
- Top with remaining patties, pressing down the edges to seal the meat together.
- Grill for about 10 minutes per side or until well done (do NOT press down on the burgers while cooking or this will make the cheese come out).
- Serve on buns with favorite toppings.

- HEAT grill to medium-high heat.
- COOK macaroni in medium saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Return macaroni to pan. Add VELVEETA® and milk; cook on low heat 5 minute or until VELVEETA® is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly.
- SPOON macaroni mixture into pepper halves; wrap with bacon to completely enclose filling, overlapping edges of bacon as needed. Secure with wooden toothpicks. Cover grill grate with foil. Place peppers, cut sides down, on foil.
- GRILL 20 minute or until bacon is crisp and peppers are heated through, turning after 10 minute Remove and discard toothpicks before serving peppers.

- Heat broiler to high. Place jalapeños cut side down on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Coat tops with cooking spray. Broil on middle rack of oven until just tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Cool slightly. Coarsely chop. Stir together chopped jalapeños, Cheddar, cream cheese, cayenne, and 1 teaspoon of the salt until smooth.
- Place beef, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons salt in a large bowl. Using your hands, combine thoroughly. Divide into 4 (6-ounce) balls. Flatten each ball into a 6-inch circle. Place 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture in center of each burger leaving a 1-inch rim. Carefully fold edges of meat over to cover filling, and seal; flatten into 3/4-inch thick patties. Chill 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high. Cook burgers to desired degree of doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on bottom and top halves of buns. Top bottom bun with a patty, tomato slice, onion, and pickled jalapeño, if desired. Top with top halves of buns.
