Steps:
- Place the chicken legs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl add the jam or jelly, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic. Mix to combine well.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken legs.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 5-6 or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Enjoy the chicken hot.

SLOW COOKER BBQ CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS
I wanted a recipe for chicken legs in the slow cooker, so I searched many recipes and finally found two that I meshed together to get the perfect BBQ chicken legs. My family loved them, and the texture and flavor of the chicken was awesome! This 2-step process is what makes it so great-the slow cooker keeps the chicken very juicy, and then finishing it in the oven crisps up the skin without drying up the chicken.

Steps:
- Mix ketchup, onion, brown sugar, garlic, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
- Place chicken drumsticks in a slow cooker and drizzle sauce over top. Cook on High for 3 hours.
- When the 3 hours are almost up, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Transfer chicken and sauce to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook in the preheated oven until no longer pink at the bone, the juices run clear, and the skin is browned, about 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
