½ cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
1 (3 pound) beef chuck steak, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
3 onions, thinly sliced
¾ cup water
¾ cup ketchup
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
½ pinch white sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Put flour into a large, sealable plastic bag; add beef cubes and seal bag. Shake bag to coat beef in flour; transfer beef to a large casserole dish.
  • Top beef with sliced onions.
  • Whisk water, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar together in a bowl; pour over the onion slices. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in preheated oven until the beef is tender enough to pull apart with a fork, about 3 hours.

2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon butter, melted
¼ teaspoon dried parsley
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ cup diced ham
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 slices Gouda cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until starting to brown, about 5 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels.
  • Line 6 cups of a nonstick muffin tin with bacon slices. Chop leftover bacon slices and sprinkle over the bottom of each cup.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, butter, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl. Stir in ham and mozzarella cheese.
  • Pour egg mixture into the bacon-lined cups; top with Gouda cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until Gouda cheese is melted and eggs are set, about 15 minutes.

Repeat with the other leg and with both shoulder joints to loosen.   • Break the eggs into a wide bowl and add quarter teaspoon of salt. Mix well with a fork to combine the yolks and the egg whites. Steam the eggs for 5-6 minutes in a steamer. After the said time, remove from heat and set aside to cool a bit. Run a knife through the sides of the bowl and gently use the knife to release the eggs from the bottom of the bowl. Invert to a plate and cut the steamed egg into small bite sized cubes. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Add in the mustard seeds, fennel seeds, finely chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies and chopped garlic. Let the mustard seeds crackle. Fry for a few seconds. Add in the chopped onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes till the onions are soft and starting to brown.
  • Add in the tomatoes and the salt. Sauté the tomatoes on a medium flame till the tomatoes are mushy and juiced down. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the tomatoes so it cooks fast. Add in the turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Add in a little water if the mixture is very dry.
  • Add in the egg cubes and gently mix well to combine. Be gentle so the egg cubes do not break. Let the cubes warm up and absorb the masala. Add in the finely chopped coriander leaves. Easy and delicious Egg cubes masala is ready. Serve hot!
