These air fryer roasted radishes are a great side dish or snack, and an excellent low carb alternative to roasted potatoes!

400 g radishes
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Clean the radishes, and remove the stems. Cut them in halves, and coat with a thin layer of vegetable oil and some salt.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C/356°F. Add the radishes to the frying basket, and air fry for about 10-12 minutes. Shake every 4 minutes to ensure that the radishes cook evenly.

1 bunch of radishes. (10-15 pieces) cut into thin slices 1 Tablespoon Oil
¼ Teaspoon salt and pepper (or to taste)
¼ Teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
¼ Teaspoon herb seasoning mix of choice. I used Organic Veggie Blend and Roast Vegetables Spice blend
1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Steps:

  • Cut radishes into thin slices and drizzle with olive oil or avocado oil
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper and seasoning
  • Use silicone food brush to coat radishes evenly. (You can use a zip lock bag or a plastic container to shake it for an even coating)
  • Spread out radish slices on your air fryer cooking sheet or basket so they don't overlap
  • Air fry for 8 minutes at 390°F (200°C). Flip half way. Or cook until radishes are slightly wrinkled and lightly browned with caramelized edges. Yum!

I often switch out the thyme with either rosemary, basil, or crushed garlic, depending on my mood and what main dish these will be served with.

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon ground thyme
salt to taste
½ lemon, juiced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Cut radishes into halves; cut any large radishes into quarters. Stir olive oil and thyme together in a bowl and toss radishes in mixture to coat. Spread radishes onto prepared baking sheet; sprinkle with salt.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until tender but firm in the centers, tossing every 5 minutes, 15 to 20 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice.

Fresh parsley, green onions, or basil to garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Wash, trim, and halve the radishes. Trim = cut off stems and roots.
  • Preheat the air fryer for about 5 minutes to 390 degrees F.
  • Toss the radishes with olive oil and spices. Arrange them in a single layer on the air fryer tray or evenly in the basket. Spread so as many radishes touch the pan/basket as possible.
  • Air fry for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  • Wash, dry, and trim the radishes. Cut into halves or quarters, depending on how large the radishes are.
  • Add radishes to a small bowl with the oil, garlic powder, and salt and toss to coat.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Separate greens from radishes; wash both well. Slice radishes in half; toss with 1 tablespoon each oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet, cut-side down. Roast until tender and golden, 25 to 30 minutes.
