1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 pinches of Cajun seasoning
12 ounces salmon, minced
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, more if needed
1 lemon
Cooking spray

Steps:

  • For the aioli dipping sauce, stir the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning until combined. Refrigerate until needed.
  • In a large bowl, combine the salmon, chives, parsley, garlic, and salt. Add the flour and mix until well-combined. Shape into four patties.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the lemon into 4 wedges.
  • Place the lemon wedges into the air fryer basket. Top with the salmon patties. Lightly spritz the patties with cooking spray.
  • Place the basket into the fryer and reduce the temperature to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Flip the patties halfway through and spritz the tops with cooking spray. You'll know they're cooked if a meat thermometer inserted into the center of a patty reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve hot with the dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Golden and crispy, these air fryer salmon patties cut down on the oil and deliver big on flavor! Made with canned salmon, they are a great way to cook from your pantry.

12 oz canned salmon ((or 3 125 g cans); drained, mashed, skin and bones removed if desired)
2 eggs
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
lemon (zested)
1/2 teaspoon dried dill (or 2 teaspoons fresh)
fresh dill
yogurt or tzatziki
lemon wedges
fresh cucumber

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together- in a large bowl, use a spatula to mix together the salmon (drained, mashed, and skin/bones removed if you'd like), eggs, mayo, salt, breadcrumbs, lemon zest and dill.
  • Measure out patties- using a 1/2 cup measuring cup, firmly pack the mixture into the cup, then tap it out into the palm of your hand.
  • Form patties- pat gently to form a patty that is no more than 1 inch thick and is of equal thickness across the patty.
  • Cook the patties- heat air fryer to 390°F. Spray the basket with oil, then add patties into the basket. Spray the tops of the salmon patties. Cook for a total of 8 minutes. Spray a second time 1-2 minutes before the patties are cooked through. See note 1 for differences between oven and basket air fryers.
  • Serve- top the patties with the serving suggestions, and enjoy!

½ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic

2 pinches Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives

Steps:

  • Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning together in a small bowl and refrigerate dipping sauce until needed.
  • Place salmon, chives, parsley, garlic, and salt in a medium bowl and mix well. Add flour and mix well. Divide into 4 equal portions; mold into patties.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cut lemon into 4 slices.
  • Place lemon slices into the bottom of the air fryer basket and place salmon patties on top. Lightly spray patties with cooking spray.
  • Place the basket into the preheated fryer and drop the temperature to to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  • Cook in the air fryer until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a patty reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with sauce.

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chervil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup panko bread crumbs
2 (5 ounce) packages of fresh salmon

Steps:

  • Preheat an air fryer for 10 minutes to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Whisk egg, mayonnaise, parsley, chervil, dill, chives, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, seafood seasoning, and salt together in a bowl. Mix in panko bread crumbs until combined. Gently fold in salmon.
