These shrimp fajitas take on a different technique as they don't use a typical liquid marinade, and are air fried. You can use your preferred fajita seasoning and serve with toppings of your choice, like sour cream, Oaxaca cheese, and avocado.

½ pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 small onion, cut into thin strips
1 small red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 small green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
cooking spray
1 tablespoon family-style fajita seasoning (such as Savory Spice Shop®), or to taste
2 teaspoons lime juice
4 flour tortillas, warmed

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 3 minutes.
  • Combine shrimp, onion, and bell peppers in a bowl and lightly coat with oil spray. Sprinkle fajita seasoning over the shrimp mixture; mix to combine. Transfer into the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 8 minutes. Squeeze lime juice over the shrimp mixture. Serve immediately with warm tortillas.

1 pound (450g) raw shrimp (thawed)
3 small mixed bell peppers (sliced)
1 small yellow onion (sliced)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (divided)
1 tablespoon fajita seasoning (divided)
4 tortillas
pico de gallo
1 avocado (sliced)
lime crema

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°F) for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, season the vegetables. Toss with half of the oil and half of the fajita seasoning. Add the vegetables to the Air Fryer basket and Air fry for 3 minutes.
  • As the vegetables are being air fried, season the shrimp with the rest of the oil and fajita seasoning.
  • When the 3 minutes are up, with a spatula move the vegetables to one side of the air fryer basket, and add the shrimp to the other half.
  • Air fry for 6 minutes at 375°F (190°F) flipping halfway through. Mix everything together and serve.
  • Assemble the fajitas over tortillas, and top with your favorite toppings (pico de gallo, guacamole or avocado slices, and lime crema).

4 (10 inch) flour tortillas, toasted

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place bell peppers and onion in a large bowl. Place shrimp in a separate bowl. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of the fajita seasoning over the shrimp. 1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 onion
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne

Steps:

  • Place the thawed shrimp in a medium sized bowl.
  • Slice the peppers and onion into strips and add to a second bowl.
  • Drizzle half the oil over the shrimp and half over the vegetables.
  • Add all of the seasonings to a small bowl and stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle the spice blend evenly over the bowl of shrimp and the bowl of vegetables. Stir well to coat.

1/4 cup lime juice

1 beef flank steak (about 1-1/2 pounds)
