2 cups sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter
1 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Butter a 13x9-inch pan; set aside. Combine all ingredients except vanilla in heavy 4-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted and mixture comes to a boil, about 15 to 20 minutes. Continue cooking, until candy thermometer reaches 244°F, or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms a firm ball, about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2x1-inch pieces; wrap candies in plastic food wrap. Store refrigerated.

1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Butter 13x9-inch pan; set aside.
  • Combine all ingredients except vanilla in heavy 4-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 15-20 minutes or until butter is melted and mixture comes to a boil.
  • Continue cooking 25-30 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 244°F or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms a firm ball.
  • Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Cool completely. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Cut into 1 1/2x1-inch pieces; wrap candies in plastic food wrap. Store refrigerated.

1/2 pound butter
2 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
Scant 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups unsifted flour
1/2 pound sliced blanched almonds
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 by 1-inch jelly roll pan; set aside.
  • Combine the butter, yolks, sugar, cinnamon and flour and mix until you form a cohesive ball of dough. Spread the dough onto the prepared jelly roll pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile cook the almonds, sugar, butter, honey and milk, stirring on occasion, until the mixture is light golden.
  • Remove baked dough; spread almonds mixture over the top and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer until dark golden. Cool and cut into squares or rectangles (be sure to cut the cookies before they turn too hard.)

Nonstick cooking spray, for the knife

Steps:

  • Combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, cream, condensed milk, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until the mixture reaches 245 degrees F on a candy thermometer. Take from the heat and stir in the butter. Pour into a 6-inch square baking pan lined with parchment and allow to cool and set about 3 hours.
  • Take the caramel from the pan and, using a very sharp knife gently sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, cut the caramels into squares and wrap in wax paper or candy wrappers (see Cook's Note). Store in a cool dry place.

2-1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup dark corn syrup

Steps:

  • Line a 15x10x1-in. pan with foil; grease the foil with 1 tablespoon butter. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt remaining butter. Add the brown sugar, milk and corn syrup. Cook and stir until candy thermometer reads 250° (hard-ball stage). , Pour into prepared pan (do not scrape saucepan). Cool completely before cutting.

3/4 cup light corn syrup

Steps:

  • Grease bottom and sides of square baking dish, 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 inches, with butter.
  • Heat all ingredients to boiling in heavy 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook about 35 minutes, stirring frequently, to 245°F on candy thermometer or until small amount of mixture dropped into cup of very cold water forms a firm ball that holds its shape until pressed. Immediately spread in baking dish. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
  • Cut into 8 rows by 8 rows, using kitchen scissors or sharp knife. Wrap individually in waxed paper or plastic wrap. Store wrapped candies in airtight container at room temperature.
