- While your pizza dough is rising, begin prepping your ingredients. Cook the ground beef with onion in a skillet over medium-low heat until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the bacon until it is a little less done than you normally like it.20 minutes before the dough is done rising, preheat your oven to 450ºF (230ºC). Place a pizza stone (or heavy, flat stainless steel cookie sheet) in the oven to preheat.Roll the dough out on a sheet of parchment paper to a 10-inch circle. Spread the butter all over the dough, right out to the edge. Spread the ketchup over the dough for the sauce. Sprinkle with the cheese, ground beef, bacon, and pickles. Drizzle with mustard and ketchup.Bake in preheated oven on preheated stone or cookie sheet for about 8--10 minutes, or until the bottom of the crust is deep golden brown all the way across and the cheese is melted. - Heat oven to 400°F.
- Cook onion, ground beef and pepper in 8-inch skillet over medium-high heat 8-12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat.

BACON CHEESEBURGER PIZZA
The secret to this delicious pizza is to pre-bake your crust firstly and brown your beef well, then top as stated in directions and bake just to heat through and until the cheese has melted. This is a hearty pizza that can be made using store-bought refrigerated pizza dough or homemade, just make certain to pre-bake the crust before topping. This can also be made using a store-bought Boboli pizza crust. The success of this recipe will also depend on your pizza sauce, I use my recipe#65641 it is a hearty full-flavored pizza sauce that works well for this recipe and of coarse any pizza! You can add in some green bell peppers and jalapeno peppers to the ground beef mixture also if desired. The ingredient amounts are enough for one 12-inch pizza, you can double the complete recipe to make two if desired.

- Pre-bake the pizza crust in a 400 degrees oven until golden brown and baked.
- Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan or baking sheet (if you already baked your crust on a pizza pan then leave on the pan).
- In a skillet cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned (the beef must be well browned, this might take about 10-12 minutes) drain fat then season with seasoned salt, black pepper and 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese.
- Add in the pizza sauce; reduce heat to low and cook stirring for 5 minutes.

- Chop the dill pickle and onion then set the pieces on a paper towel to dry.
- Prepare a small amount of ground hamburger and dice it up to small pieces.
- Cook bacon and cut it up in to small pieces as well. I usually plan for this meal ahead of time and brown the ground beef a day earlier with a different meal. I save bacon from breakfast and it allows me less cooking when I make this pizza.
- Follow the directions on the tube of raw pizza dough as far as the prep of the dough.
- Once the dough is ready to topped apply a thin layer of mustard all over the dough except for the edges.
- Sprinkle your bacon over the entire pizza followed by the onions and then the hamburger.
- Cover the pizza with cheese and sprinkle a few pickles on the top.
- Bake at the time a temperature as instructed on the pizza dough tube. It tastes great!
- It sounds weird because you may not have ever put pickles or mustard on your pizza but it tastes just like a bacon cheeseburger. It's something different and I enjoy it a lot.
