BACON-WRAPPED DATES
Bacon-wrapped dates are classic hors d'oeuvres. They get a new look-and taste-thanks to some dried apricots and pistachios.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Stuff each date with 3 or 4 pistachios. Lay a stuffed date and apricot strip on top of each bacon slice; wrap to enclose.
- Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until bacon is crisp, about 10 minutes, flipping each wrapped date after 8 minutes. If frozen, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; flip, and bake 10 minutes more. Transfer wrapped dates to paper towels to drain. Serve with toothpicks.
BACON-WRAPPED BRUSSELS SPROUTS RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Lay out stips of bacon on a clean cutting board or other clean flat surface.
- Lightly brush each strip of bacon with maple syrup making sure to coat the entire surface of the meat. Lightly sprinkle with black pepper.
- Take a brussels sprouts and starting from the bottom, roll up each piece of bacon so that it evenly wraps the vegetable.
- Lightly brush the tops of each wrapped brussels sprout with more maple syrup and sprinkle on additional pepper. Transfer the pieces to a baking sheet making sure to place each piece of rolled-up bacon with the seam side down.
- Bake at 350˚F (180˚C) for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is done and thoroughly cooked.
- Remove from baking tray and place on paper towels to remove excess bacon fat.
- Enjoy!

- Gently separate the two sides of each apricot and stuff with the almonds. Wrap each with a segment of the bacon. Arrange in a small nonstick skillet seam-side down. Cook on medium heat until the undersides are well-browned and crisp, 6 to 7 minutes.
- Turn the apricots over and continue to cook until browned on the bottom, 2 to 3 minutes more.
