This Jello shots recipe contains fruit flavored gelatin and vodka, which are mixed together, poured into cups, then chilled until firm. A fun and festive addition to any party!

3 ounce box Jello (pick your favorite flavor)
1 1/2 cups water (divided use)
1/2 cup vodka

Steps:

  • Heat one cup of water until it's boiling.
  • Pour the boiling water into a bowl containing your Jello powder and whisk the mixture until the powder is completely dissolved.
  • Pour in 1/2 cup cold water and whisk until combined.
  • Pour in the vodka and whisk until thoroughly blended.
  • Pour the Jello mixture into plastic shot cups, glasses or a small baking dish.
  • Refrigerate the Jello shots for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours until they are firm, then serve. Store any leftover shots in the refrigerator.

Great to bring to a party! Bring different colors to match themed events. These are so much better than most of the ones you get at bars. You will need to find the 2oz. plastic cups and lids from your local restaurant supply store.

1 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vodka

Steps:

  • Boil cup of water.
  • Empty jello powder into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water.
  • Continue stirring for two minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved.
  • Add in the 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of vodka.
  • Stir until mixed and pour into 2oz. cups filled 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

Steps:

  • Add Jello to boiling liquid and stir until Jello is completely dissolved. Stir in additional liquid ingredients. Pour into covered Jello shot cups with lids. Add garnishes, if desired. Cover and chill until firm. Remove from molds and serve.
