Here is how to make Borden's Magic French Fudge. Bordens came out with this recipe at least 20 years ago, and I have made it quite often. It is the *easiest,* *quickest,* and *most delicious* fudge that I have found. I thought you might enjoy great fudge, without the hassle of beating it!

12 oz. package semisweet chocolate chips
14 oz. can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
dash of salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts optional (I used chopped pecans.)

Steps:

  • In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat. Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and, if desired, nuts. Stir until smooth. Turn into a waxed paper-lined 8-inch square pan. (I used a 9-inch square pan, sprayed with cooking oil, which worked well.) Chill. Cut into pieces and store in an airtight container. This fudge *never* fails! It is a great fudge to make when you want to make, if you want to make sure you are successful. Everybody loves it! Enjoy!!! Have a happy day!

This is the easiest chocolate fudge recipe and it's even easier to eat:) Made this for my French class in high school when we had to bring in a french dish and everyone already had crepes and chicken francese lol!

18 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a double-boiler melt chocolate.
  • Remove from heat and add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and nuts. Stir until smooth.
  • Turn into wax paper lined 8 inch square pan and chill in fridge.
  • Store in cool place in an airtight container.

18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pinch salt
1 ½ tsp vanilla
½ cup nut meats or mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate over hot water; stir occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Add sweetened condensed milk, salt, vanilla and nut meats, if used. Stir only until smooth.
  • Turn into waxed paper-lined 8-inch square pan. Spread mixture evenly and smooth surface. Refrigerate for two hours or until firm.
  • Turn candy out onto a cutting board. Peel of paper, and with a sharp knife cut fudge into serving-sized pieces. Store in an airtight container. Yield: About 1 3/4 pounds

easiest fudge I have ever made and so good for those times to cure the chocolate craving. I have substituted other flavored chips in as well for a different tast- this might change the calorie content.

1 can Borden Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Fat free Milk
3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt

Steps:

  • in a sauce pan on med heat, combine the dash of salt, milk and chips and stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour into a foil lined pan and cool- makes approx 30 pieces.

2 package s (6 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 square (1-oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup finely chopped nut meats

Steps:

  • Combine Eagle Brand and chocolates in top of double boiler. Cook over fast-boiling water 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Add vanilla, salt, and nut meats. Beat until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes).
  • Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill several hours. Cut into squares.
