Steps:
- Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven (making sure it is no more than two-thirds full) to 375 degrees F.
- As the oil comes to temperature, make the buffalo sauce. Combine the hot sauce, butter and cayenne in a small saucepan over medium heat; keep warm.
- Fry the pierogies in two batches of 12. (The oil will pop and foam at first, but will settle in about 1 minute. Watch the temperature to try to maintain the heat, as frozen pierogies will initially drop the temperature by about 30 degrees.) Fry until golden brown, about 6 minutes, then drain on a sheet tray lined with a wire rack. While the pierogies are still warm, toss them in the buffalo sauce and serve on platter drizzled with the Blue Cheese Dressing.
- Combine the sour cream, blue cheese, mayonnaise, milk, vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl.

- Traditional: Preheat oven to 400ᵒF. Combine melted butter, cayenne hot sauce and chili powder; toss with pierogies.Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and spread pierogies evenly on the baking sheet.Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, or until pierogies are browned. For best results, turn over halfway through bake time.Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing, carrots and celery. Deep Fryer: Deep fry pierogies in 350ᵒF oil for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Toss with cayenne hot sauce mixture. Air Fryer: Combine melted butter, cayenne hot sauce and chili powder; toss with pierogies.Place pierogies in the air fryer basket.Set the air fryer to 400°F for 12 to 14 minutes, tossing pierogies halfway through.Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing, carrots and celery.

BUFFALO PIEROGIES
Tonight we had these withour dinner as a side/appetizer type thing. They went over very well! I think these would be just as good if you fried the pierogis and then tossed them with the sauce. This is adapted from a recipe by Sara Moulton.

- Mix the first 3 ingredients together.
- Toss the frozen pierogis with the sauce.
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread the pierogis on the pan and bake at 400F for 20 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes. Serve with blue cheese dressing.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
- In small bowl, mix melted butter, hot sauce, seasoned salt and pepper to make Buffalo sauce.
- In medium bowl, mix shredded chicken, Cheddar cheese and ranch dressing. Pour about half to three-fourths of the Buffalo sauce (reserving remaining for serving) into chicken mixture. Mix until combined.
- In medium bowl, stir together Batter ingredients with whisk or fork until blended. Spoon 1 tablespoon batter into each muffin cup. Top with about 1/4 cup chicken mixture. Spoon 1 tablespoon batter over chicken mixture in each muffin cup.
- Bake about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and tops are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. With knife, loosen sides of pies from pan and remove. Place top sides up on cooling rack. Cool 5 minutes longer, then transfer pies to serving tray.
- Top each with blue cheese, chopped green onion, chopped cilantro and a drizzle of reserved Buffalo sauce. Serve warm.
